Missouri: “The University Of Missouri Department Of Athletic Performance is now accepting applications for the position of Volunteer Intern for Olympic sports during the 2017 summer session.  There is no monetary compensation provided, however, the aforementioned internship is a learning opportunity that qualifies as practical experience toward the 9 months or 640 hours required toward SCCC certification with the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association as well as theoretical and practical experience that can be applied to CSCS certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assistance of supervision for daily activities, set up and break down for daily activities, routine maintenance, weekly educational projects and reports, and assistance with execution of workout design and implementation for various sports.  All prospective interns are expected to have an interest in advancing in a career in athletic performance. Prospects should have outstanding work ethic, energy, enthusiasm and attention to detail.  Individuals chosen for this position are subject to university background checks and will possess or be in the process of obtaining CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
