Yale: Yale University Sports Performance is looking for candidates to fulfill internship positions with the Football team during the Summer 2018 semester. This internship does not provide monetary compensation, but can be used as continuing education credits (2.0) through the NSCA, or College credit. Along with credit, the internship will provide the opportunity to work hands on with a Football team that has just won the 2017 Ivy Championship and finished #24 in the nation. Along with the Football team, Yale has 30 teams that interns will also have the opportunity to work with for added experience. This is a rigorous internship with hours that would closely mimic that of a full time strength coach. There is a classroom component to this internship, that will include lectures on program design, theory, nutrition, athletic testing, and more. The goal of this internship is to ready individuals for full time positions upon completion. Requirements: The ideal candidate would be working towards their Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree. Students who have recently graduated are also welcome to apply. A SCCC / USAW / CSCS certification is preferred but not required. No previous experience is required but strength room experience or collegiate athletic history is preferred. Reporting Dates: May 28th – August 7th Deadline: The deadline for applications is April 30th. Please send a resume and cover letter to Coach Teofe Ziemnicki at [email protected].
