Baylor: Longtime strength coach Kaz Kazadi has been reassigned outside the strength staff.

Arizona State: The Sports Performance Department is currently accepting applicants for the 2017 Summer internship program. Interns will work specifically with the Football program as well as our Olympic sports teams. The report date will be Monday, May 15th and run through the end of July. Ball State: The Ball State University Football Strength and Conditioning Department is now accepting applications for 2 Volunteer Interns for Summer of 2017. The internship begins May 15th and ends July 21st. These are unpaid positions. Applicants should have, or be working towards, a BA/BS in an Exercise Science related field. Completion of this internship can fulfill potential credit hours toward a program degree, and offer an opportunity for advancement in the field of strength and conditioning. Daily responsibilities for these positions include, but are not limited to; assistance in the supervision of the Ball State University Football team and Women’s Basketball team, set up and breakdown for daily strength and conditioning activities, routine maintenance, cleaning, and organization of the training facility. Desired characteristics for these positions include; great work ethic, strong desire to enhance knowledge of strength and conditioning, attention to detail, punctuality, and accountability. Nova Southeastern (D-II – FL): Nova Southeastern University, a member of the NCAA Division II and the Sunshine State Conference located in Fort Lauderdale, FL, is currently accepting applications for the position of Graduate Assistant for Strength & Conditioning. The Graduate Assistant reports directly to the Director of Sports Performance, while working collaboratively as a member of the NSU Sports Medicine Interdisciplinary Team. The position is responsible for assisting the Strength and Conditioning staff in all departmental functions. The successful candidate will have full responsibility of 3 teams and will assist with the implementation of strength training, conditioning, speed/agility, flexibility and recovery workouts for all 17 athletic teams in our state of the art Strength & Conditioning Complex. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to complete the CSCCa mentorship program and be eligible to sit for the SCCC certification exam after their 1 st year. Qualifications: The GA positions are required to work up to but not limited to 35 hours per week, which include flexible hours, evenings and weekends. GA positions work 12-month, renewable contracts. Graduate Assistants must be enrolled at a full time status (6 credits per semester) and be in good academic standing throughout their employment. Applicants must be admitted into their respective graduate program before they can sign a contract through NSU Student Employment. Experience with Microsoft Office is required. Candidates must be certified with at least one of the following organizations CSCCa (SCCC), NSCA (CSCS), or USAW. The deadline for applications is April 7, 2017. Start date is July 15, 2017. GA package includes up to $8,000 a year in tuition, an $8,000 stipend paid over 12 months, and a $500 meal plan.
