Tarleton State (D-II – TX): The Tarleton State University Athletic Performance Program is accepting internship applications for the fall 2018 semester, with a starting date on or before Aug 20, 2018 and an end date of December 14. 2018. The internship hours may be countable toward the CSCCa’s Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified practicum requirements, and/or for college credit if needed. The volunteer internship will involve active experience in an NCAA Division II Athletic Performance program under the supervision of a Master Strength and Conditioning Coach and his staff. Qualifications: Applicants should be pursuing strength and conditioning as a profession and possess, or currently be working on, CSCCa, NSCA, or USAW certification. Compensation: This is an educational internship with no monetary compensation provided. However, opportunities for advancement in the field of strength and conditioning are possible for successful interns. Arkansas State: South Florida intern James Dia has joined the Arkansas State strength staff working with the basketball program, per source.

Tusculum: Tusculum University’s Athletic Department is seeking applicants for a Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. Tusculum University is a member of NCAA Division II and South Atlantic Conference. The ideal candidate Development, implementation, and oversight of a comprehensive strength and conditioning program for the Department of Athletics and its student-athletes. This person will report to the VP for Student Success and Athletics.​ Candidates must have 3-5 years previous coaching experience. A Bachelor’s degree is required Master’s Degree is preferred. Candidate should have credentialing from National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), or Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA); *CPR/First Aid certification. Develop, implement and supervise the strength and conditioning programs for each sport program at the University. Design and implement strength, agility, speed, flexibility and conditioning programs for assigned teams and student-athletes. Will also be required to supervise any weight room workers, including graduate assistants and interns. A good driving record is required.
