    Purdue: Purdue University Sports Performance Department is now applications for one Sports Performance Associate Position for one year duration. Primary responsibility will be with football, as well as other Olympic sports. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, desire to learn, be highly motivated, team-oriented, and have the ability to work early mornings.     Purdue: Purdue is accepting applications for unpaid internships. Responsibilities: Set up and break down of equipment for each session; Facility cleaning/maintenance; Assist within session to help spot athletes, record data, etc.; Participation in weekly article review sessions, staff presentations and exercise proficiency test-outs; completion of hourly logs and journal entries and reports on all educational presentations. Participation in intern workouts whether in a group or individually is expected. Applicants should be aware of the possibility of long days (12 hours or more is not uncommon at times) and early morning sessions (that can begin at 5:30 or 6:00am) and should be able to lift and carry 50-80 pounds frequently and up to 100+ pounds occasionally. All applicants must be an undergraduate or graduate student seeking an unpaid internship experience in exchange for college or class credit.     Colorado State: Mississippi State intern Mike Stacchiotti is joining the Colorado State football staff as a graduate assistant strength coach, per source.

    Buffalo: State University of New York at Buffalo Football Strength and Conditioning Staff is seeking highly motivated, hardworking candidates for a strength and conditioning internship for the Summer 2015. Duties will include assisting the strength and conditioning staff with all aspects of the athletic performance program as well as daily maintenance of weight room and facilities. This is an unpaid position, living and transportation arrangements will not be provided. If chosen for this internship opportunity you will gain valuable experience, be educated on training philosophy, Olympic lifting modalities, and how to structure and execute a successful strength and conditioning program. Minimum qualifications: Strong work ethic and desire to become a strength and conditioning professional. Candidates should have or be working towards attaining their bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field and at least one of the following Certifications or in the process of acquiring these certifications: CSCS, SCCC. Preferred qualifications: Prior experience, Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree or enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s program, CSCS.     Embry-Riddle (D-II – FL): Embry-Riddle University is looking for a PAID INTERN Strength and Conditioning for the 2015-2016 academic year. This position will start in August and end in May. All applicants must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic and wish to pursue a career in collegiate strength and conditioning. Duties will include programming and leading team workouts for assigned teams; working with athletic trainers and sport coaches; assisting training multiple other sport.
