Arkansas State: Longtime Baylor strength coach Kaz Kazadi has been named director of athletic performance at Arkansas State. Kazadi was the 2012 FootballScoop Strength & Conditioning Coach of the Year.

Lincoln Memorial (D-II – TN): Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee is seeking a full-time Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach who will be responsible for the assigned teams and athletes. Responsibilities include the following: Design and implement strength, agility, speed, flexibility and conditioning programs for the assigned teams and athletes; Supervision of the workout sessions for each team; Supervision of any weight room workers, including graduate assistants and interns; Assist athletic training in injury prevention and rehabilitation; Instruction of proper exercise technique for strength and conditioning; Make recommendations for the purchase of new equipment; Maintenance and cleaning of equipment and room; Coordinate with strength and conditioning staff to ensure the program instruction and design methodologies for sports are consistent across the department. Qualifications: BA or BS in an area that provides a knowledge base in exercise physiology and athletic performance; Hold a current C.S.C.S. or S.C.C.C. certification; Two (2) years of strength and conditioning experience required; Must demonstrate a high energy level at all times; Ability to communicate effectively with both coaches and athletes; Must research the industry and stay on the cutting edge of skills and technology; Must be able to work with all coaches and athletes interchangeably to ensure a consistency across the strength and conditioning area. Preferred: Master degree in related field; Two (2) years or more of collegiate strength and conditioning experience; More certifications with strength and conditioning applications. If interested please email cover letter, resume and 3-5 references to stephen.linzmeier@lmunet.edu by July 5, 2017.

BYU: BYU is seeking a part-time assistant strength coach. The part time (28 hours/week) assistant strength and conditioning coach will have the responsibility for designing a workout program and working regularly with assigned teams to develop their strength and conditioning as is specifically related to their sport. This position has no involvement with football. Florida Gulf Coast: The Department of Strength and Conditioning at Florida Gulf Coast University is accepting applications to fill a position for the Fall of 2017.  This is a Part-Time Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach position.  The position is paying $14.00 per hour, 29 hours per week for a 10-month duration. The Assistant Coach will be responsible for various sports as assigned by the Head Strength Coach.   We are considering candidates who possess the following qualifications; Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science or related field, CSCS, CSCCa or USAW certification, and a CPR/First Aid certification.  Experience with all elements of strength & conditioning in Division 1 collegiate level sports is preferred.  We are interested in taking on 1 serious candidate that can begin in early August, 2017. Eastern Michigan: Eastern Michigan University Sports Performance is looking for qualified and motivated sports performance interns for the Fall 2017 semester. The internship will begin Monday August 28th and end on Friday December 11th 2017. Preferred qualifications: Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in exercise physiology or related field; working towards NSCA-CSCS, CSCCa, USAW certifications; CPR certification. One year of previous experience in a strength and conditioning program or have previous collegiate athletics experience. Compensation: This is a non-paid position. Those accepted into the program will be provided with a one of a kind internship curriculum, practical strength and conditioning experience, and career mentorship. Kansas: The University of Kansas is accepting applications for volunteer intern strength & conditioning coaches for the 2017 fall semester to work specifically with the football team. Highly motivated, disciplined, and passionate individuals are encouraged to apply. The individuals selected will assist the strength & conditioning staff in all aspects of training and education of our athletes. Preferred qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field, CSCS or other certifications, CPR/AED certification, and previous coaching experience. There is no monetary compensation so if this position is not an economically feasible option for you, please do not apply. Minnesota-Crookston (D-II): The University of Minnesota-Crookston, which plays in the highly competitive Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, is hiring a strength & conditioning/tight ends coach. This is a salaried position ($30-35,000 range) with full benefits. The position will be responsible for coaching their position, running the strength and conditioning program for the football team, and other duties as assigned. A bachelor’s degree, experience working in a strength & conditioning program and college football coaching experience are required.
