FAU: Per source, Gardner-Webb (FCS – TN) Director of Athletic PerformanceChris McCormick, has accepted the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for Olympic Sports position at Florida Atlantic.

Air Force Academy Prep (CO): The US Air Force Academy Preparatory School is accepting applications for an offensive position coach/strength and conditioning coach. AF Prep is located on base at the Air Force Academy and plays a JUCO schedule. Coaching experience at the high school level or above is required, but college experience is preferred. A Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) Certification is not required, but is preferred. Salary would be roughly $50K, but is subject to change based on experience. Old Dominion: Old Dominion University Sports Performance Department is seeking qualified strength and conditioning interns for FALL 2018 working with Olympic Sports teams. The internship will begin AUGUST 27th, 2018 and will continue through DECEMBER 2018. Preferred qualifications: Working towards earning Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in exercise physiology or related field and towards NSCA-CSCS, CSCCA, and/or USAW certifications; Up to date CPR, First aid, and AED certification. One year of experience in strength and conditioning program, previous coaching experience, or current/previous collegiate athlete. As stated above this is an unpaid position but those accepted for the internship will receive practical strength and conditioning experience, coaching education, hours towards undergraduate/graduate internship requirements, and understanding of the fast paced environment of Division I athletics.
