Florida Southern College: Per source, Zach Wallace will be the first head strength coach at Florida Southern College. Wallace previously served as an assistant strength coach at Webber International University, where he also served as a coaching assistant and intern the year prior.

Dakota State (SD): Dakota State University in Madison, SD is looking for a strength and conditioning graduate assistant. The graduate program is a Master’s in Educational Technology. This program from Dakota State is one of the best MSET Programs in the country. Dakota state has 10 varsity sports and the candidate would be responsible to work side by side our full-time strength coach in order to implement programs and develop our student athletes. Compensation is a stipend of $12,000 and 2/3 tuition reduction. Cost of living is also very affordable in Madison. This program is a 1 year Master’s program and a commitment longer than 1 year is not required. An undergraduate GPA of 3.25 or higher and a GRE score is required for admission to the grad program. Henderson State: The Henderson State University Football program is seeking motivated individuals to fill 1-2 volunteer strength and conditioning coaching positions for the 2016-2017 year. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Setup, breakdown, and implementation of strength and conditioning programs for the football program, maintenance and upkeep of the equipment, and assist with all aspects in operating a Division II strength and conditioning program. This is an unpaid coaching position, but will provide unlimited meals on campus. The position will begin with an anticipated start date of August 8th, 2016. The candidate must be pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field and be CPR and First Aid certified. Preferred qualifications: CSCS, USAW, SCCC certification, or in the process of achieving. Moravian College: Moravian College’s Strength and Department is currently accepting applications for volunteer interns for the fall 2016 semester. Daily responsibilities include: assisting with the set up and break down of weight room and fields for conditioning workouts; daily clean up and maintenance of the weight room and all of its equipment; assist with supervision and demonstration during the training sessions. This is an unpaid position, however, volunteers will receive experience working at a Division III program, better understanding of program design, have the potential to earn recommendations for future career opportunities, and receive college credit if applicable. QUALIFICATIONS: The successful applicants should be working towards earning their Bachelor’s degree and a certification from the NSCA- CSCS, CSCCA, or USAW. Applicants must be highly self-motivated, able to follow directions, desire to learn, and have a strong work ethic.
