North Texas: University of North Texas Football Performance, in conjunction with Total Nutrition of Denton has an immediate opening for a high energy and high character individual to fulfill the role of Coaching Assistant. This position will assist the Director of Football Performance with the creation, administration and daily implementation of physical development programs for the Mean Green Football Team. In conjunction with Total Nutrition of Denton, the Coaching Assistant will work part time as a sales associate at the Total Nutrition Storefront, a position that will provide monetary compensation. There is NO MONETARY COMPENSATION FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH TEXAS FOR THIS POSITION. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and one semester of experience coaching physical development at the collegiate or professional level. NC State: We hear that Pitt assistant strength coach Dantonio Burnette is heading down to NC State.

Candidates must have prior strength and conditioning experience, be extremely passionate in the field, have a bachelors degree in exercise science or a related area, and CSCS, USAW, or CSCCA certified. Cincinnati: Joe Walker has been named director of football strength and conditioning and former Bearcat running back Orlando Smith has been announced as the assistant director of football conditioning.
VCU: VCU is seeking a graduate assistant stregth coach for basketball. VCU invites applicants for a graduate assistant position to begin in June of 2013. Successful applicants must be admitted into the VCU School of Sports Leadership. The position directly assist with the training of the men's basketball program and trains the men's and women's tennis teams. Tuition waiver is included.
