University Of Hawai'i: The University of Hawai'i is seeking applications for two Graduate Assistant Coaches for the Fall 2009 semester. The coaches will assist with football and be assigned additional teams to supervise as well attending to the daily maintenance of the training facility. The position requires admittance into the graduate program at the University of Hawaii. The GA must take a minimum of 6 credits per semester and maintain good academic standing. Tuition and a monthly (11 months/year) stipends will be provided. Qualifications: Strong work ethic, great energy and enthusiasm, desire to pursue a career in strength and conditioning. A bachelor's degree in exercise science, or related field, and full admittance into the graduate program is required. Certification through an accredited association (NSCA, CSCCa, or UASW) and 1 year training at the collegiate level preferred. Responsibilities: Assisting the Strength and Conditioning in all aspects of training and upkeep of the training facility. Start date: August 2009.
