The past two seasons, Gary Andersen has led the Utah State program to a combined 17 wins and a WAC title. Their 10-2 finish this season is not only the first time the program has ever collected 10 wins, but it's also the first time the Aggies have won more than 7 games since 1979.

Their unprecedented success has led to other programs reaching out to Andersen to gauge his interest in their vacancies. Program after program called, and time and time again Andersen explained that he's happy with where he's at. So happy that he's even signed three of his sons to play him and the Aggies.

It's evident that Andersen believes that Utah State is a special place, and this season was an excellent example of that.

Take a look at the motivational highlight video that the staff put together to commemorate the best season in school history. With Andersen at the helm for the forseeable future, things are just getting started up in Logan, Utah.

When Gary Andersen took over the Utah State program back in late 2008, he took over a program that had a combined 4 wins in the three years prior to his arrival, and just a handful of seasons where they finished over .500. In a very short window, Andersen has built a winner.

In his first two seasons on campus, Andersen won 8 games, which was something that the Aggies hadn't done in a two year span in over a decade. He followed that up with a 7 win season in 2011 (7-6), and this season he has led Utah State to an impressive 10-2 record to go along with a WAC title, and their success has lead to his name being mentioned with many of the open jobs across the country.

Here's a good clip of Andersen mic'd up during practice, which provides a great look into his coaching style. It's easy to see why him and his staff have been able to recruit Utah very well, as well as convince kids from Florida to come out to Utah and play for him. What you see is what you get with coach Andersen.
