For the second year in a row, Army will wear special uniforms for its rivalry game with Navy on Saturday (3 p.m. ET, CBS).

This year's look sticks with Army's traditional black and gold - gold helmets, black jerseys, black pants and gold shoes. The "theme" pays tribute to 1944 - the first of the Black Knights' three consecutive national championships and the U.S. Army's victory at the Battle of the Bulge. The helmet will feature a small, black spade on the side to honor the 101st Airborne Division, which was instrumental in winning the Battle of the Bulge.

Additionally, the uniforms will feature a historical, re-interpreted West Point map of the battle designed into the jersey numbers, helmet stripes, gloves and inside the cleats.

We've posted a few photos below but you can see the whole set at the Army - Navy Game Facebook page

Nike has come out with some nice new threads for the Midshipmen to wear against Army to wrap up the season December 8th.

Some may not be a fan of the chin-to-chin gold horizontal stripe on the helmet, but we think it's a nice addition that you don't see every day. The Nike Dri-FIT is also well done.

Take a look and let us know your thoughts.

As has become something of a tradition, Ohio State will break out special uniforms for their rivalry game versus Michigan. These uniforms closely mirror their regular sets, but with some exaggerated features, specifically the stripe on the helmet.

Arizona is busting out the red on red look with red helmets this weekend against Arizona State, and fans are loving these red helmets.

The red on red look has been rumored for a few weeks now, and finding a way to add some extra excitement to an in state rivalry game is never a bad idea.

Take a look and judge for yourselves. What do you think?

Rutgers SID Jason Baum revealed Monday the patriotic helmets that Rutgers will wear this Saturday.

According to Baum's tweet they will be worn to "show our support for the women and men who protect our country."

Considering the Scarlet Knights' opponent this week is Army and that Veteran's Day will be celebrated next Monday, and of course the devestation that New Jersey endured caused by Hurricane Sandy, this is the perfect time for Rutgers to break out the red, white and blue.

I've always been a fan of Rutgers' silver helmets, so I think this is a great look.

UCLA-Blue

UCLA (6-2, 3-2) has got some new threads for their homecoming game this weekend against Arizona (5-3, 2-3).

The uniforms were first unveiled via UCLA's Instagram account.

From everything that we're hearing, the new uni's are well liked by the Bruin fan base, and look like a nice change up from their usual powder blue look. The exact color of the uniform is referred to as "L.A. Night" by adidas.

Saturday's kickoff is scheduled for 10:30pm ET on the Pac 12 Network.

On the Cowboy Football Roundup this week, the program took a look at the uniform combos that have been added over the last few seasons. Coach Mike Gundy says that it is a trend that will continue to evolve for them every season and that equipment managers and players council weigh in on the uniform combinations each week.

"The future is new and shiny and the latest, and the uniforms are a part of that. We made a few adjustments on this year's uniform compared to last year and I see minor adjustments every year from this point on." Gundy said.

Coach Gundy notes that the uniforms and having multiple options has helped them attract recruits to Oklahoma State, and that players believe that the new uniforms help their on the field performance to an extent.

As the saying goes, "if you look good, you play good."

Boise State will be blacking out the stadium this weekend when they take on UNLV, and also unveiled some new uniforms in the process.

The new black uniforms follow the same basic outline as their blue pro combat unis, and feature the over sized Bronco on one side of the helmet and their number on the other side, similar to what they wore against Michigan State earlier this season. They'll be wearing black from head to toe from the helmet to the jerseys to the socks and shoes, only the gloves and other accessories will be blue.

This will mark the first time that Boise State has ever rocked an all black look. Looks pretty sharp, especially the matte black helmet.
