Georgia Tech: Georgia Tech has added two years to Paul Johnson’s contract, keeping him under contract through 2022. Financial terms were not disclosed; Johnson made $2.97 million in 2017. Johnson has been at Georgia Tech since 2009, and his 182 all-time wins are fourth among active FBS head coaches.
The Citadel (FCS – SC): Colton Korn has joined the staff as a special teams quality control assistant.

Minnesota: The Gophers are looking to take the lead on preventing sexual assault on campus.
Virginia: Special teams coordinator Kelly Poppinga has been promoted to co-defensive coordinator, sharing oversight of that side of the ball with Nick Howell, who retains his title as defensive coordinator. Tenth assistant Ricky Brumfield has been named special teams coordinator.
Ole Miss: Per source, Chattanooga defensive and recruiting analyst Steven Ruzic has taken a position on the recruiting staff at Ole Miss.
Ohio State: Urban got a contract extension Thursday that makes him the highest-paid coach in the Big Ten. Details here.
Kansas: Offensive coordinator Doug Meacham will switch from wide receivers to quarterbacks, while quarterbacks coach Garrett Riley will move to fullbacks, tight ends and inside receivers. Justin Johnson, who was promoted from an analyst role to the full-time staff, will be the Jayhawks’ wide receivers coach.
Carson-Newman (D-II – TN): Antonio Goss has been hired as defensive backs and special teams coach. He was previously on staff at East Tennessee State.

Lawrence (D-III – WI): Lawrence University, who competes in the Midwest Conference is seeking applicants for a part time Offensive coach, (Quarterback experienced preferred). Job responsibilities include: Coach a position group, assist the Head Football Coach with all duties of successfully operating our football program, including but not limited to recruiting student-athletes, assisting with training sessions/game preparation/game-day coaching, monitoring the student-athletes academically and managing game day responsibilities. Also, as a member of the athletics department this person will have additional responsibilities assigned by the athletics director. Must have bachelors degree. Local applicants encouraged to apply. Sam Houston State (FCS – TX): Sam Houston State is looking to fill an entry level video position. Duties include: Film daily practices and coordinate video sessions for coaching staff; Hire and supervise student filmers; Upload, organize, and manage video on Hudl; Assist in management and maintenance of video database; Contribute to the creation of multimedia content – photo galleries, podcasts, video interviews, online magazine show, video board features, etc.; Visualizing, interpreting, and scripting to produce highlight/recruiting videos using innovative production and graphic techniques (preferred- not required); Contribute to the Sam Houston State football program’s social media presence; Assist in other projects within the football department as assigned; Graphic design experience is a plus!; Assist with all football events as scheduled; Other duties as assigned.
