Florida: Jim McElwain has granted extensions to five of his assistants, according to documents obtained by Gator Bait. Offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier will now make $842,000 (plus a $300,000 retention bonus) on a 2-year deal running through 2018, defensive line coach Chris Rumph netted a 3-year extension with a raise to $600,000 (plus $225,000 in total retention bonuses), and linebackers coach Tim Skipper, tight ends coach Greg Nord and wide receivers coach Kerry Dixon all earned 2-year extensions through 2018. Skipper will make $456,000, Nord $420,000 and Dixon $300,000 (plus $60,000 in retention bonuses).

Army: The Army West Point Football Program is seeking interns in both player personnel and with graphic design. Internships are available immediately. Schedules are created on an individual basis regarding dates and hours per week. Arkansas: Defensive coordinator Paul Rhoads’ contract has been finalized reports WholeHogSports who adds Rhoads’ contract runs only through June 2018, at an annual salary of $700,000. His contract includes Arkansas’ standard non-compete clause prohibiting Rhoads from accepting another job in the SEC, other than as a head coach.
