Hamline (D-III – MN): Hamline University is currently looking for a highly motivated PAID football intern for the 2018 FALL SEASON. This position will work directly with football. This position is paid a small stipend so candidates need to be passionate about the field and demonstrate a desire to pursue a career in the field of College Athletics. Internship duties include but are not limited to: Assisting with coaching a position, assisting with recruiting an assigned area, extensive video breakdown of games and practices on HUDL, academic monitoring, and administrative duties. Additional duties may be assigned by the head coach. Strong communication and time management skills are an absolute must. Housing and meals are not included. Dakota State (NAIA – SD): Dakota State University in Madison, SD is looking for a football graduate assistant to start in July. The graduate program is a Master’s in Educational Technology. This program from Dakota State is one of the best MSET Programs in the country. A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field is preferred but not necessary.  Video, Equipment, and recruiting experience a plus. Compensation is a stipend of $12,000 and 2/3 tuition reduction. Cost of living is also very affordable in Madison. This program is a 1-year Master’s program and a commitment longer than 1 year is not required. St. Olaf (D-III – MN): St. Olaf College has an opening for an assistant football coach working with the wide receivers. This is a restricted earning position that pays $8,000 and includes housing. Candidates will have the opportunity to coach their own position group, film editing/breakdown (HUDL), and recruit their own area. Navarro (JC – TX): Navarro College is looking to hire an offensive intern. The best candidate will be hired but preference will be given to applicants with blocking instruction experience and defensive breakdown experience. The position is UNPAID. The intern position does provide housing and a meal plan. The offensive intern will assist in game planning, coaching a position and all other tasks given by the Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator. Avila (NAIA – MO): Avila University has an immediate opening for a full-time defensive coordinator position in Kansas City, MO. Job responsibilities include: Coordinate the defense and coach a position group, assist the head football coach with all duties of successfully operating our football program, including but not limited to recruiting student-athletes, assisting with training sessions/game preparation/game-day coaching, monitoring the student-athletes academically and managing game day responsibilities. Dakota College at Bottineau (JC – MN): Dakota College at Bottineau has a late opening for an assistant football coach with possible responsibilities in residence life. Preferred position is defensive secondary, but will consider all applicants. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Salary is $3,000 for 10 months with room and board added in for the residence life responsibilities. Football Internships are contracted temporary positions during the standard football season beginning August through mid-December. Interns will serve as a position coach and assist in a variety of capacities within the Iowa Wesleyan University, NCAA Division III program.
