Mike Mayock: In response to ESPN’s report earlier today, NFL Network put out a statement today saying Mayock has not had “official” contact with the Redskins and no offer has been put on the table.

East Texas Baptist (D-III): Per source, Hardin-Simmons defensive backs coach/special teams coordinator Kyle Coats is now the defensive coordinator at ETBU.

Washington Redskins: NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock is the leading candidate to become the Redskins’ GM according to ESPN’s Field Yates and Adam Schefter.

Fordham (FCS – NY): Sources tell FootballScoop that Lock Haven (D-II – PA) co-offensive coordinator / wide receivers coach Stephen Pribble has accepted an offensive assistant position.

San Jose State: Joe Seumalo, the former defensive line coach at Arizona State, has joined the staff as defensive line coach. Seumalo previously coached the defensive line at SJSU in 2005 and recent stops also include UNLV and Oregon State.

Penn State: Per source, Lock Haven (D-II – PA) defensive line coach / special teams coordinator Kevin Smith has accepted a graduate position on staff.

Sewanee (D-III – TN): Illinois Wesleyan defensive coordinator and Travis Rundle has accepted the head coaching job at Sewanee. Rundle also served as the head strength coach at IWU as well the past six seasons.

Illinois Wesleyan (D-III): Illinois Wesleyan invites applications for a full-time, 10 month position of defensive coordinator. Additional duties as assigned by Head Football Coach and Athletic Director may also include Football Recruiting Coordinator and/or Head Strength Coach for the program. 4-5 years experience at the collegiate level or high school head coaching preferred. Rutgers: Rutgers has an opening for in the post-production area of their video department. This position is responsible for creating highlight films, daily social media videos, recruiting, and more. UVA-Wise (D-II): Former Idaho defensive intern Kevin Acciani has joined the UVA-Wise staff as a defensive assistant, per source.

Iowa State: Jake Waters has joined Matt Campbell’s staff as a graduate assistant for the offense. Waters, who spent two seasons as the quarterbacks coach at Iowa Western CC (JC), was a two-years starter at quarterback for Kansas State in 2013 and 2014.

Penn State: Per source, Sean Cascarano, who coached the offensive line at Chowan (D-II – NC) and was a graduate assistant at Virginia prior to that, has joined the Penn State staff in a graduate assistant role.

Glenville State (D-II – WV): Per source, Trevor Mendelson has joined the staff as offensive line coach / run game coordinator. Mendelson spent the last two seasons as a graduate assistant on the Marshall staff.

Indiana: Sources tell FootballScoop that Davidson (FCS – NC) corners coach Sean Fisher has joined the Hoosier staff as an offensive analyst. Fisher previously served as an offensive intern at Ohio State under Ed Warinner in 2013-2014, and was also part of a young, prolific offensive staff at James Madison (FCS – VA) in 2015 where he coached the tight ends.

Texas A&M: Former NY Jets quarterbacks coach Kevin Patullo is joining the Aggies staff in an analyst role, per Alex Marvez.

Mount St. Joseph (D-III – OH): Longtime head coach Rod Huber has announced his retirement to pursue other professional opportunities after 27 seasons total with the program. Huber took over the program in 2000 and led them to 5 NCAA playoff appearances, and an overall record of 106-68.

Knox (D-III – IL): Knox is seeking a restricted earnings defensive assistant coach. Bachelor’s degree required. Defensive coaching or playing experience preferred. Responsibilities include coaching your own position, recruiting both on and off campus, working with special teams, and other duties assigned by the head coach. Emory and Henry (D-III – VA): Per source, wide receivers coach Billy Ray Stutzmann has been promoted to passing game coordinator and running backs coach Quintin Hunter is adding the run game coordinator title.

Stillman (D-II – AL): Former recruiting coordinator Willie Hill has accepted the offensive coordinator job at MacArthur HS (Hollywood, FL), per source.

Arkansas Monticello (D-II): Middle Tennessee defensive graduate assistant Kenneth Gilstrap has accepted the defensive backs job.

Warner (NAIA – FL): Warner University has an immediate opening for an assistant football coach working with the wide receivers.  Applicants must be willing to share their strong Christian faith and work within Warner University’s Christian mission. Job duties include coaching your own position, running your own meetings, practice planning, scouting, video breakdown, managing your own recruiting area, and all other responsibilities assigned by the head coach.
