Auburn: School president Dr. Steven Leath said the school will move “fairly quickly” to hire a new AD, but noted a search committee won’t be announced until next week. “We’re going to move fairly quickly on replacing AD Jacobs,” Leath said during a board meeting Friday, via AL.com. “We are in the process of formulating a search committee. We are in the process of laying out a strategic plan to hire a new athletics director and identifying those people that are going to have major roles. That will be announced early next week to late next week. As soon as we can get it together. … As soon as we can get it formalized we’ll announce it.”

Previous coaching experience is preferred. This is a 11 month renewable position that includes a tuition waiver, a small monthly stipend, and meal plan.
