Iowa Wesleyan (D-III): Iowa Wesleyan University is accepting applications for a temporary Offensive Football Internship. Intern will work with running backs or wide receivers. Football Internships are contracted temporary positions during the standard football season beginning August through mid-December. Interns will serve as a position coach and assist in a variety of capacities within the Iowa Wesleyan University, NCAA Division III program. A football intern must be available to fulfill the program responsibilities during the days, evenings, weekends over the course of the contracted dates. An Iowa Wesleyan University Football Intern’s responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting the IW offensive coordinator with implementing game plans, coaching special teams, coaching an offensive positions (WRs / RBs). Review of resumes will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Olivet Nazarene (NAIA – IL): Olivet Nazarene is looking for Volunteer assistant coaches who will be working with the Junior varsity program. Responsibilities include working with a position group along with a varsity assistant and performing game day duties. Position groups include defensive line, linebackers, defensive backs, and offensive skill. Interest in coaching college football in a faith based environment is required. Castleton (D-III – VT): Castleton University has an intern position open on the defensive side of the ball coaching outside linebackers and also working with the track program in the spring. The position comes with a stipend of 10k, assistance with meals, off-campus part time work opportunities and the ability to become the next Graduate Assistant (3.0 undergraduate GPA required). This is a great opportunity for a young coach looking to break into the coaching profession, as the candidate will gain coaching and recruiting experience. The position does not include housing or benefits. Having ties to the Northeast, along with previous playing or coaching experience in both football and track is ideal. Carroll (D-III – WI): Carroll University has a 10-month intern coaching position to fill starting August 2018. The position will coach CB and will also be involved with special teams and strength & conditioning. Kenyon (D-II – OH): Western New England (D-III – MA) offensive line coach Dylan Berardelli has joined the Kenyon College staff.

Arkansas State: Per source, Will Weaver has joined the staff in a defensive quality control role. He previously served as the tight ends / running backs coach at Northwestern State (FCS – LA).

The Citadel (FCS – SC): Bobby Ruff is joining the staff in a defensive quality control role and Colton Korn is joining the staff as special teams quality control, per source.

Garden City (JC – KS): John Powers, formerly of Ball State & Bethune Cookman (FCS – FL) has joined Garden City staff as offensive line coach, per source.

Western Kentucky: Defensive coordinator Clayton White has added the title of assistant head coach.

Humboldt State (D-II – CA): Source tells FootballScoop that former San Jose State defensive graduate assistant Josh Irvin has accepted the wide receivers job at Humboldt State.

Steve Spurrier: In case you missed it over the weekend, Steve Spurrier is coming back to the sidelines as a head coach.

Belhaven (D-III – MS): Per source, longtime SEC veteran Melvin Smith has been named defensive coordinator / defensive backs coach at Belhaven. He replaces Carlton Buckels, who recently accepted a position on the Tulsa staff. Smith’s previous stops include Texas A&M, Mississippi State, State, Ole Miss, Alabama and Auburn.

Garden City (JC – KS): Garden City CC has an opening for a linebacker coach. Must have coached or played the position, $1,000 a month plus room & board.  Send resume to [email protected].
