New York Giants: Source tells FootballScoop Rutgers corners coach Henry Baker is expected to join the Giants’ staff later this week.

Charleston Southern (FCS – SC): Armando Allen, who previously coached the running backs at Texas Southern (FCS), has joined the staff as an assistant coach.

Defensive line coaches: Examining the highest-paid defensive line coaches in college football.

Auburn: Gus Malzahn has announced Levorn Harbin as the new director of recruiting for the program. Harbin previously coached the defensive tackles at Louisiana-Lafayette, and prior to that spent two seasons as a defensive analyst at Auburn.

Mark Richt: ESPN has announced that former Miami and Georgia head coach Mark Richt will be a part of their National Signing Day coverage.

UAB: Per source, UAB has moved defensive coordinator David Reeves, who had been coaching the defensive backs, to linebackers coach and corners coach Blake Shrader will now coach the safeties, and defensive analyst Jerron Simpson has been promoted to corners coach.

Cincinnati Bengals: The organization has now formally announced Zac Taylor as their new head coach.

Lindenwood (D-II – MO): Per source, special teams coordinator / defensive backs coach Eric Inama has been promoted to defensive coordinator. Linebackers coach Brandon Anderson will add the duties of special teams coordinator, running backs coach Bryan Baldwin has moved to the secondary, and offensive quality control coach Tore Hurst has been promoted to wide receivers coach. Also, former Sioux Falls defensive backs coach John Tidwell will join the staff as defensive quality control coach. We understand that all positions on staff have been filled.

Penn (FCS): Monmouth (FCS – NJ) offensive coordinator Kevin Morris is now the offensive coordinator for Penn.

North Texas: Patrick Cobbs has been formally announced as the new running backs coach on staff. Cobbs is a former Mean Green and NFL running back who spent the past five seasons coaching running backs at Denton Ryan HS (TX).

Trinity College (D-III – CT): Southern Connecticut State (D-II) wide receivers coach Sam Belkin is joining the staff as running backs coach, per source.

Philadelphia Eagles: GJ Kinne, a former Eagles quarterback who worked in an analyst / assistant quarterbacks role at Arkansas last year, is joining the Eagles staff as an offensive assistant, Bruce Feldman tweets.

Southern Miss: Among others, Jay Hopson is reportedly interviewing Art Briles for his open offensive coordinator position at Southern Miss. Stay tuned….

Michigan: Last Monday we shared that Nate Woody had accepted an off the field role on Jim Harbaugh’s staff at Michigan. The AJC, 247 and the Michigan websites all confirmed the move. Today Bruce Feldman shares the same, per source.

North Texas: While Seth Littrell is still searching for a replacement for Graham Harrell (who left for USC), Brett McMurphy tweets that Littrell – who previously served as the offensive coordinator at UNC, Indiana and Arizona – will call plays this fall.

Super Bowl: In the chess match of the NFL season, Bill Belichick out-thought Sean McVay by essentially removing the Rams’ offensive wizard from the equation.

Doane University (NAIA – NE): Doane University has an open date August 31st 2019 and September 14th 2019. They are looking to play a home and home. All interested parties please contact Chris Bessler at [email protected].

Miami Dolphins: The Dolphins have announced a 4 p.m. ET press conference to introduce new head coach Brian Flores. Additionally, Alex Marvez tweets that Patriots assistant quarterbacks coach Jerry Schlupinski will follow Flores from New England to South Beach as quarterbacks coach.

Campbell (FCS – NC): Tight ends coach Nick Grimes has been promoted to offensive coordinator. Also, passing game coordinator Adam Morris will move from wide receivers to quarterbacks, safeties coach Ben Bolling will move to wide receivers, running backs coach Hunter Somerville will now be special teams coordinator, and defensive line coach Damien Adams has added the defensive run game coordinator title

McNeese State: Per source, Ben Olson has been hired as defensive line coach. Olson previously coached at Colgate, Yale, Syracuse, Bowling Green, and Eastern Illinois.

New Orleans Saints: After being connected to the Bengals defensive coordinator opening the last several days, defensive coordinator Dennis Allen has agreed to terms on a 3-year deal, per multiple reports. We wrote this weekend the name we had been hearing for the Bengals’ defensive coordinator role has been Jack Del Rio. Will update….
