Arkansas State: Former Memphis receivers coach Desmond Lindsey is joining Blake Anderson’s staff as running backs coach.
LSU: Source tells FootballScoop Ed Orgeron is bringing back a staffer from the vaunted 2004 staff (who now has 10+ years NFL experience).
Ohio State: Salary details and contract info for Ryan Day’s staff in Columbus. 5 assistant will make over $1 million if Ohio State wins the Big Ten championship game.
Southern Utah: The program is no longer accepting applications for their volunteer quality control positions for offense and special teams. Thanks for the overwhelming interest.
Louisiana College (D-III): Kendrick Marshall is joining the staff as defensive backs coach after spending last season at Southwest Assemblies of God (NAIA – TX).
Butler (FCS – IN): Source tells FootballScoop that Miami (OH) defensive graduate assistant Isiah Dunning has accepted the defensive tackles job at Butler.
North Texas: Former Virginia Tech co-defensive coordinator and Old Dominion defensive backs coach Galen Scott is set to join the staff. Go Mean Green was first to mention the move. Scott spent the 2018 season coaching the defensive backs at Rowlett HS (TX) before joining the ODU staff.
American International (D-II – MA): American International College is searching for a Defensive Graduate Assistant. Candidates should have playing/coaching experience in the Northeast. Individual will be responsible for coaching their own position. This position will have extensive film breakdown responsibilities using Hudl, as well as their own recruiting area. This is essentially a full time coaching position. We cover graduate school tuition, offer housing, a campus meal plan, and a small stipend. Admission to graduate school is required. Tiffin (D-II – OH): Per source, Capital (D-III – OH) wide receivers coach Mark Spencer has been hired as special teams coordinator / wide receivers coach, and Joe Horn (who previously coached the wide receivers) will move to quarterbacks. Prior to joining the Capital staff, Spencer coached the running backs at Kent State and also served as recruiting coordinator and special teams coordinator in 2016.
Dabo Swinney: While the interim head coach at Clemson, Dabo noticed a “God wink.” Great story from Dabo here.
DFO Meetings: The Spring DFO Meetings will be held May 16th in New Orleans this year. Randy Ross has been sending out some preliminary information. Penn State: Per source, Aman Anand has joined the Penn State staff as a special teams analyst. Anand previously worked on staffs at Texas Tech and Memphis where he was a special teams graduate assistant.
Montana Western (NAIA): The University of Montana Western has an immediate opening for a wide receiver intern position. Duties will include; coaching wide receivers, recruiting and an additional duty in the football department. Compensation is an on campus apartment, monthly meal stipend and a monthly stipend. Minnesota Morris (D-III): UMN Morris is seeking two seasonal position coaches – a LBs and a WRs / RBs coach. These are 4 month positions starting July 31st. $4,000 salary with some meals included. College GameDay: Fox has announced they will air an hour long show opposite of College GameDay. Urban Meyer will be part of the broadcast; but Fox has made some changes to their lineup of analysts & insiders who will be part of their on-air team.

Western Carolina (FCS): Sources tell FootballScoop Tiffin (D-II – OH) quarterbacks coach Phillip Ely is joining the staff at Western Carolina in the same capacity. Ely, who played quarterback at Toledo and Alabama, previously served as a grad assistant for Matt Campbell’s staff at Iowa State.
Austin Peay (FCS – TN): Stephen Adegoke, who recently wrapped up his playing career at Mississippi State, is joining the staff as a defensive graduate assistant working with the secondary.
Kentucky: Source tells FootballScoop Joe Scola & Mark Perry have joined Mark Stoops’ staff. Scola, who was on Lane Kiffin’s staff at FAU last season, is expected to serve as a defensive analyst. Perry, the former Lexington Catholic head coach, served as Neal Brown’s director of football operations at Troy last season and had gone with him to West Virginia as director of football administration. At Kentucky, source tells FootballScoop Perry is expected to work in a quality control role assisting with the quarterbacks, the position he played at UK. We also understand Josh Pruitt has been promoted from a quality control role on defense to director of player personnel.
Tiffin (D-II – OH): Source tells FootballScoop that Denison (D-III – OH) defensive coordinator Bert Bathiany has accepted the defensive coordinator position.
Lindsey Wilson (NAIA – KY): Lindsey Wilson College is accepting applications for a full-time assistant coach. This position will coach the offensive line and be responsible for other duties within the football program. Experience coaching and/or playing on the offensive line is required. This is a 12-month, full-time position with benefits.
