Eastern Washington: North Dakota running backs coach Kevin Maurice has been hired to coach running backs at EWU. The former director of player personnel at Purdue, Maurice spent the past three seasons coaching running backs and serving as recruiting coordinator at North Dakota.
UL- Monroe: ULM is seeking applicants for two defensive graduate assistant coaches. Positions are TBD. Would prefer candidates to have collegiate playing or coaching experience. Enthusiasm for coaching, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail are imperative. The position includes a stipend, some meals, and free graduate school. Housing is not included. St. Olaf (D-III – MN): St. Olaf College is seeking a restricted earnings defensive assistant coach with possible Special Teams Coordinator duties. Bachelor’s degree required. Defensive coaching or playing experience preferred. Responsibilities include coaching your own position, recruiting both on and off campus, and other duties assigned by the head coach. Central Michigan: Former Northern Michigan (D-II – MI) head coach Chris Ostrowsky will be the new offensive coordinator, per sources. Multiple outlets are reporting the same. We also hear that former Indiana State running backs coach Jayden Everett is joining the staff as running backs coach. Tight ends coach Sherrone Moore has added assistant head coach / recruiting coordinator duties & title as well.

Carthage (D-III – WI): Carthage College is seeking applicants for a graduate assistant coach. Position is TBD. Must have collegiate playing or coaching experience. Miami (FL): David Cooney has joined the staff as a quality control analyst. Cooney comes to Miami after serving as the offensive coordinator at Southridge HS (FL), and he previously coached at Coral Gables HS (FL).
UAB: Assistant strength coach Kyle Tatum, who played for Bill Clark at Prattville HS (AL) before going on to play at Alabama, has been named defensive line coach and Xavier Robinson, who coached the secondary last fall, has moved into an assistant strength and conditioning role. Defensive coordinator David Reeves will help with the secondary.
Chadron State (D-II – NE): Per source, the assistant defensive coaching position has been filled. Thank you for the overwhelming interest in the position.
Southern Oregon (NAIA): Ashland HS (OR) head coach Charlie Hall has been named the new head coach of the program. Hall led the Ashland program to a 94-44 mark and takes over for Craig Howard, who passed away unexpectedly in late January.

Ohio State: Per source, Adam Scheier has been hired in a special teams quality control role at Ohio State. Scheier previously served as the tight ends coach and special teams coordinator at Wake Forest.
Northwestern: Sources tell Footballscoop that Dayton (FCS – OH) wide receivers coach Erik Frazier is headed to Northwestern as an offensive graduate assistant working with the receivers.

Kean University (D-III – NJ): Kean University is looking for a HOME scrimmage on any date between August 30 – Sept 2. If interested, reach out to head coach Dan Garrett via email at [email protected].
Elizabeth City State (D-II – NC): Elizabeth City State is looking for an offensive line coach, running back coach, and a quarterback coach. Would like to have them for spring football practice. Prefer the offensive line coach to have a Master’s in a sports or physical education field. The other jobs will be part time. Might have to volunteer in the spring. The latter two positions are entry level. All positions will lead to paid positions in the fall.
Oklahoma Panhandle State (D-II): Oklahoma Panhandle State University has an opening for a defensive assistant. Experience playing or coaching the defensive line is preferred. Chowan (D-II – NC): Due to a sudden resignation, an immediate position for an Equipment Coordinator, Football, is available. This is a full-time (12-month) position that will report to the Head Football Coach and will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the University’s intercollegiate football program. The selected individual will have full responsibility of the equipment room, fieldhouse as well as lining of practice and game fields; and, will be expected to follow all rules and guidelines set forth by the NCAA Division II, the CIAA, and Chowan University. Preference includes collegiate experience as an equipment manager; or, other similar significant experiences. Salary is low $20s with benefits and retirement. Start date is asap.
