Long-time NFL coach Gunther Cunningham has died. Please keep his friends and family in your prayers. Over his 47 year career, Cunningham coached the Colts, Chargers, Raiders, Chiefs, Titans and Lions. He also coached at the collegiate level working on staffs at Oregon, Arkansas, Stanford and Cal. He will be missed by many. God bless.

Simon Fraser (D-II – BC): Simon Fraser University, a Division II school in Burnaby, B.C., Canada, is looking for an Offensive Assistant. This is stipend position with no housing or benefits. Priority will be given to those w running backs playing and/or coaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates with Canadian citizenship. SUNY Maritime (D-III): Adam Moses has joined the staff as offensive coordinator after spending last season as the special teams coordinator at Ohio Northern (D-III).

Oberlin (D-III – OH): The Oberlin College Department of Athletics and Physical Education invites applications for the position of Assistant Coach of Football /Defensive Assistant. Louisburg (JC – NC): The head coaching job is open and has been posted. This position will have other duties as assigned within the athletic department. Master’s degree preferred. Texas A&M Commerce (D-II): Texas A&M Commerce is now accepting applications for defensive line graduate assistant. Responsibilities include; film breakdown/scouting reports, offensive scout team coaching/organization, on-campus recruiting visits, academic class checks/study hall monitoring, in addition to other responsibilities designated by the head coach, defensive coordinator, and defensive line coach. Experience with Hudl, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc. is preferred. Requirements: GPA of 2.9 or higher in undergraduate studies, a valid driver’s license, and ability to pass background check. Further details of compensation (pay and graduate program coverages) will be provided to prospective candidates. Missouri State (FCS): William Jewell (D-II – MO) inside linebackers coach / recruiting coordinator Connor Benada has accepted a quality control job working with the special teams, per source.

Dakota College at Bottineaau (JC – ND): Dakota College at Bottineau has an opening for an offensive line coach for the 2019 season. Responsibilities include coaching a position group, assisting in formulating game plans, some special teams duties, and some recruiting and S&C duties. Other duties on campus for extra pay will most likely be available including, but not limited to tutoring and academic monitoring of student-athletes. Salary for just the coaching aspect will be in the 3500-4000 range with a starting date of July 16, 2019 for either the season or the entire school year if interested in some Residence Life duties. MacMurray (D-III – IL): MacMurray College is looking for an entry-level defensive line coach. Compensation includes a 10 month stipend, off-campus housing and a partial meal plan. Compensation includes $8500 per year.  Job duties include coaching a position, recruiting area, and film breakdown.
