Hue Jackson: The Browns’ head coach will “celebrate” his club’s 0-16 season by jumping into Lake Erie.
Wesley (D-III – DE): Head coach Mike Drass, who led the program to the NCAA playoffs in each of the past 13 seasons, has sadly passed away at age 57. Drass went 228-61-1 and led the program to the national semis six times. Please join us in praying for his family.
NCAA: Dean Blandino, the former senior vice president of officiating for the NFL, has been named the director of instant replay for college football. Blandino has worked in a variety of roles for the NFL dating back to 1994, and served as the on-air rules analyst for Fox Sports during their NFL and NCAA broadcasts last season.
Arizona State: Radmen Niven, player personnel and video coordinator graduate assistant at Western Illinois (FCS), has accepted the director of creative design job with the Sun Devils, per source.
Dodge City (JC – KS): Dodge City Community College has an opening for a linebackers coach with an anticipated start date of June 1st. This is a full time position with duties that include any and all responsibilities associated with maintaining a nationally competitive junior college football program. Special Teams Coordinator duties may also be included for the right candidate. Position includes a competitive salary and benefits. Saginaw Valley (D-II – MI): Saginaw Valley State is seeking applicants for a volunteer unpaid intern assistant football coach. Preferred candidates will have playing and or coaching experience at the defensive back or linebacker position. Resume building opportunities include but are not limited to coaching your own position, managing your own recruiting area, academic monitoring of student athletes, practice and game film break down (Hudl), Plus other duties assigned by the head football coach. This is a great opportunity for a young coach looking to break into the coaching profession, the candidate will gain coaching and recruiting experience. There is no housing or meals. New England Patriots: The team is hiring martial arts expert Joe Kim as a pass rush consultant for the season, according to the Boston Globe. Kim has worked, or consulted with, 10 other NFL teams dating back to 1992, and most recently worked with the Browns in 2016.
Please join us in praying for the family of former NFL head coach Chuck Knox, who passed away over the weekend. Knox led the Bills (1978-82), Seahawks (1983-91), and Rams (1973-77 and 1992-94) during his head coaching career.

Thursday Night Football: Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will call Thursday Night football games for Fox this fall, the network has announced.
Marshall: Marshall University is looking for a Special Teams Quality Control Assistant. This is an unpaid position for a highly motivated coach looking to break into FBS football. There are no guarantees but this position has the potential to grow in a Graduate Assistant position. The Special Teams Quality Control Assistant will assist the Special Teams Coordinator with day to day Special Teams operations, including opponent film break down, self-scout, scouting reports, and practice preparations, there is no housing or benefits with this position.
