Hurricane Irma: Indiana’s home game against Florida International has been canceled. The Hooisers will effort to schedule a home game for their bye week on Oct. 7.

Northern Arizona (FCS): Source tell FootballScoop Northern head coach Jerome Souers will be parting ways the University at the end of the season. Sports360AZ is reporting the same. We are told to expect an announcement tonight. This was Souers 20th season as head coach at NAU, the winningest coach in Big Sky history. NAU opened their season with losses at University of Arizona and vs Western Illinois. Update: NAU has announced that 2017 will be Souers’s last season. “Rather than wait until the end of the season, we want to celebrate Jerome’s 20 years of service with NAU. We want our university, Flagstaff and Big Sky communities to have the opportunity to thank him, and wish him the best in the next chapter of his life. I want to thank Jerome for his service to NAU and the football program,” AD Lisa Campos said.

Hurricane Irma: This upcoming Saturday’s Georgia Tech-Central Florida game scheduled for Orlando has been called off. Additionally, Florida State’s home game with Miami has already been pushed back to Oct. 7, and Florida’s home date with Tennessee may be moved out of Gainesville.

Kent State: Sources tell FootballScoop, defensive coordinator Ben Needham, once again, did not coach this past weekend’s game & currently is not working with the staff. A Kent State spokesman declined to elaborate on the situation, referring to this as a “personnel issue.” Will update when more on this situation is clear.

Rutgers: Offensive coordinator Jerry Kill had a minor seizure yesterday morning. Ryan Dunleavy reports that Kill is expected to return to work shortly.

Kent State: Head coach Paul Haynes made his first public appearance Monday after undergoing surgery to remove prostate cancer on Aug. 28. Haynes said a routine screening probably saved his life — and could save yours, too.

Washington Redskins: Former GM Scot McCloughan has filed a grievance, according to The Washington Post, for the 22 months of pay remaining on his contract. The Redskins maintain that they fired McCloughan with cause and therefore do not have to pay the balance due on his deal.

Hurricane Irma: The ACC announced over the weekend that Miami-Florida State is moving from Sept. 16 to Oct. 7, and Miami-Georgia Tech is moving from Oct. 12 to Oct. 14.
