Steve Sarkisian: While Sark was offered the offensive coordinator job on Kliff Kingsbury’s staff in Arizona, Dianna Russini tweets that Sark will head back to Alabama to join Nick Saban’s staff.
Charleston Southern (FCS): Notre Dame running backs coach Autry Denson is expected to be the new head coach at Charleston Southern, per source.
FAU: Former Louisville offensive line coach Mike Summers is joining Lane Kiffin’s staff to coach the offensive line, per Jake Elman.
Jackson State (FCS – MS): Source tells FootballScoop Ron Dickerson Jr. has been hired as offensive coordinator and TC Taylor will join the staff as quarterbacks coach. Dickerson comes from Morgan State where he served as associate head coach / special teams / receivers. Taylor from NCCU where he was offensive coordinator.

UT Martin (FCS): Source tells FootballScoop former UT Chattanooga offensive coordinator Justin Rascati is expected to be the new offensive coordinator at UT Martin. Rascati also previously served as OC at Tennessee Tech. This will be his second tour at Martin where he coached receivers and served as recruiting coordinator 2014-15.
Georgia: Source tells FootballScoop the candidates for Georgia’s defensive backs job include LSU’s Corey Raymond, Florida’s Charlton Warren and two other college defensive backs guys, who both have NFL coaching experience as well. Stay tuned….
Auburn: Running backs coach Tim Horton is expected to move into an off the field role with the program per multiple reports out of Alabama. Why??? Will be interesting to hear how Gus explains this…
Northern Arizona (FCS): Source tells FootballScoop Chris Ball plans to hire Bob Connelly as co-offensive coordinator / offensive line. Connelly has previously served as offensive line coach at USC, Oklahoma State, Arizona State, UCLA, Alabama, Washington State and more. In adding Connelly, there will now be four assistants from the 2002 Washington State staff (Pac 10 Champs) on the NAU staff with Ball, Connelly, Robin Pflugrad and Aaron Price.
Trinity College (D-III – CT): Trinity College is accepting applications for a running backs coach. The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching their own position group, recruiting a specific area, assisting in video editing and breakdowns, and performing all other duties assigned by the head coach and athletic director. This is a salaried position with benefits, that also includes housing, partial meal plan, and full tuition remission for graduate classes if desired. Georgia Tech: Source tells FootballScoop Geoff Collins plans to fill the defensive line job with former Georgia Tech All American Marco Coleman. Coleman served as assistant defensive line coach for the Oakland Raiders this season.
Independence CC (JC – KS): Independence Community College is looking to fill (4) positions immediately. We are looking for offensive and defensive coaches looking to get into college football. These positions are “UNPAID” positions with the potential to coach your own group and recruit an area. It will provide free housing and meals. Looking for the best candidates but all responsibilities will include; coaching a position and having their own recruiting areas, Dorm checkers, class checkers, study hall advisors. We are looking for an assistant Offensive Line Coach, an assistant WR coach, and Assistant LB coach, and an assistant DL coach. Must be computer savvy, good with social media and graphic design is a plus. Video experience is a huge bonus as well. In the subject line, please type the position you would be interested in. Green Bay Packers: Matt LaFluer and the Packers were denied permission to interview and hire 49ers wide receivers coach / passing game coordinator (and Matt’s younger brother) Mike LaFluer. The 49ers also turned down the Browns and Vikings on talking to Mike.
Miami: The school has announced the additions of Butch Barry (as previously reported) as offensive line coach, as well as former Kansas State running backs coach Eric Hickson to coach the teams running backs.
Oregon: Earlier this week a now former player filed a lawsuit seeking $11.5 million in damages from Willie Taggart, Irele Oderinde, Oregon and the NCAA. Now, a second player, this time from the active roster, has filed a similar suit seeking $5 million.
Minnesota: Source tells FootballScoop PJ Fleck is hiring former Temple defensive line / assistant head coach Jim Panagos. Panagos had been one of Geoff Collins’ first hires at Georgia Tech but Fleck has lured him back North.
Dallas Cowboys: After interviewing for head coaching jobs this off season, Ian Rapoport shares that the Cowboys may promote Kris Richard to defensive coordinator after the season.
William & Mary (FCS – VA): Vincent Brown is joining the staff as defensive coordinator after serving as Mike London’s defensive coordinator at Howard the past two seasons, Adam Rittenberg tweets.
Austin Peay (FCS – TN): Source tells FootballScoop UT Martin assistant head coach / defensive backs Dominique Bowman is expected to join the Austin Peay staff as defensive backs coach / defensive pass game coordinator.
Dixie State (UT): Dixie State has accepted an invite to the Western Athletic Conference and will begin their transition from Division II to Division I in June of 2020. The reclassification process if four years and the Trailblazers will be eligible for Division I postseason play in the 2024-25 season.

Tampa: The Bucs are hiring University of Arizona offensive line coach Joe Gilbert as their new offensive line coach. It had previously been reported by many of the NFL guys that Sean Kugler was expected to fill that role; but it appears he’ll land elsewhere. Tampa is also adding Larry Foote (outside linebackers) and Mike Caldwell (inside linebackers).
Michigan: Michigan has announced the hiring of Anthony Campanile as a defensive assistant.
SMU: Source tells FootballScoop Tyler Bullard is being promoted to director of coaches video and Anthony Crespino will now serve as chief of staff.
Lehigh (FCS – PA): Source tells FootballScoop defensive coordinator Craig Sutyak and offensive line coach Jeremy Bandy will not return.
App State: Buddy Wyatt is joining Eli Drinkwitz’ staff as defensive line coach. Wyatt served as an analyst at Kansas this past season.
Illinois State (FCS): Source tells FootballScoop Ghaali Muhammad-Lankford has accepted the receivers position at Illinois State. Muhammad-Lankford previously served as a grad assistant at Wyoming & Mizzou before spending the past 3 years as running backs / recruiting coordinator at Southeast Missouri State. He played at Wyoming.
Rich Scangarello: The 49ers denied the Broncos request to interview quarterbacks coach Rich Scangarello for their offensive coordinator job tweets Adam Schefter.
Utica (D-III – NY): Utica College is seeking another Division 3 program to scrimmage. Willing to travel up to 3 hours away or meet at a neutral location for a more distant school. Independence CC (JC – KS): Independence Community College is hiring a Football equipment manager. Male or Female- Female’s our encouraged to apply. Looking for someone who is eager fresh out of college, and willing to put in the work to learn this side of the profession. It does offer a minimal salary and housing and meals. If you are a female, please be professional and understand the housing is on campus with students. Preferred qualifications: Experience or ambition to learn college equipment room structure, detailed & organized- must know how to take inventory and have a very strong personality to control the room at all times.
