LSU: Mark Criner has joined the staff as defensive analyst. Criner spent this past season as co-defensive coordinator at CSU Pueblo and previously has served as defensive coordinator at Idaho, Middle Tennessee, Cincinnati and elsewhere.

Rice: Mike Bloomgren has officially named Gerard Wilcher cornerbacks coach and Drew Svoboda running backs coach. Wilcher comes to Rice after serving as defensive coordinator at Delaware State. Svoboda was head coach at Klein Collins High School.

Belhaven (D-III – MS): New head coach Blaine McCorkle and Belhaven University have completed their staff we are told. Carlton Buckels has been promoted to DC and DL/Rec Coordinator Matt Conner has been retained. New hires include Austin Gund OL (formerly at Delaware and Richmond) Scott Smouse OC/QB ( formerly at Itawamba and Furman), Carson Stewart WRs(formerly at Ft Hill HS, Maryland), Jordan McNeill RB’s (formerly at East Texas Baptist), Jourdan Potts LB’s (formerly of Navarro CC) and former Blazer standout Alvin Vaughn will serve as a defensive assistant.
