#StaffTracker: A one stop page where you can keep track of how the new head coaches are filling their staffs. NFL – FBS – FCS – D-II

Fresno State: Source tells FootballScoop that Danny Langsdorf is expected to join the staff as quarterbacks coach, and we now understand that offensive line coach / run game coordinator Ryan Grubb will likely have the offensive coordinator role. Langsdorf spent this last season in a quality control role at Oregon, and from 2015-17 was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Nebraska. He spent the 2014 season as the quarterbacks coach for the New York Giants, and prior to that was the offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach at Oregon State.

Cleveland Browns: Per source, Cardinals defensive quality control coach Alonso Escalante has accepted a position with the Browns where he’ll work in the same capacity. Prior to joining the Cardinals, Escalante served as an offensive assistant with the Giants.

Cincinnati Bengals: Dom Capers, who served as the defensive coordinator for the Packers from 2009-17, “could become a strong option” for the Bengals defensive coordinator position if they’re unable to hire Dennis Allen away from the Saints, per Alex Marvez.

Los Angeles Rams: Once Zac Taylor heads to Cincinnati after the Super Bowl, Ian Rapoport tweets this morning that Sean McVay may move Jedd Fisch to a coaching role (quarterbacks), make Shane Waldron passing game coordinator and bring in Wes Phillips as tight ends coach.

Bill Belichick: The secret to Bill Belichick’s development of young coaches.

UAB: Source tells FootballScoop Richard Owens is expected to join Bill Clark’s staff coaching offensive line. Owens, who spent the 2018 season at his alma mater (Louisville), had joined Tyson Helton’s staff at Western Kentucky as tight ends coach. This will be Owens’ second stint at UAB where he also coached from 2012-14. He also coached offensive line at South Alabama.

Highest paid college football assistants: Top ten: Offensive line, defensive backs, running backs coaches. More to come….
