Fresno State: By winning their 7th game last night, Jeff Tedford earned a $50,000 bonus and triggered an automatic one-year extension in his contract, Steve Berkowitz points out. Tedford’s deal now runs through 2021.

Tennessee: The school owes Butch Jones a buyout of $8,257,580, according to his letter of termination. Jones signed an extension back in December of 2014, his second season in Knoxville, after a 6-6 regular season that took him through 2020, so he had three years and three and a half months left on his contract.

NCAA: The NCAA released the Division II  and Division III football brackets on Sunday.

Tennessee: AD John Currie said at his press conference Sunday that Tennessee will not hire a search firm at this time to replace Butch Jones.

Southwestern Oklahoma (D-II): Per source, co-offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Justin Iske has resigned.

Jon Gruden: Jason La Canfora reports, “according to league sources,” that some believe that this may be the year that Gruden leaves the analyst booth, and La Canfora goes on to cite a return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or the Tennessee Titans as the two teams that may intrigue him the most.

University of Mary (D-II – ND): Head coach Josh Kotelnicki will not return. In four seasons as head coach, Kotelnicki’s Marauders won 8 games. Athletic director Dale Lennon will serve as interim head coach. The Grand Forks Herald added of Lennon, “Asked whether he would consider taking the job full time he said it had crossed his mind, but is more focused on a national search.”

Santa Monica College (CC – CA): Kelly Ledwith, who was named interim head coach during the season, will return as head coach for the 2018 season the program has announced.

Kentucky: Kentucky’s 44-21 win over Vanderbilt triggered a 1-year contract extension for head coach Mark Stoops, taking him through the 2022 season. “I’m committed to this place and taking it to another level and that’s what we’re trying to do,” he said. Stoops took home a $200,000 bonus this year that will grow as Kentucky continues to win.

North Texas: Seth Littrell earned a $55,000 bonus for clinching the C-USA West Division title, per USA Today’s Steve Berkowitz, taking him to $90,000 on the season.

Wisconsin: Paul Chryst’s staff will share a bonus pool of at least $642,500 for reaching the 10-win mark after a 38-14 defeat of Iowa, per USA Today’s Steve Berkowitz.
