Oregon: While Marcus Arroyo carries the title of quarterbacks / tight ends coach, The Oregonian points out that graduate assistant David Gilbertson is being relied on a lot to coach the tight ends while Arroyo works primarily with the quarterbacks.

Middle Tennessee: We understand that offensive line coach Rick Mallory, who suffered a heart attack earlier this week during his workout, is recovering well, is in great spirits, and plans on returning to the staff soon. Continued prayers are appreciated.

Iowa Western (JC): Iowa Western has an entry level coaching position available as a defensive assistant. Position will include a stipend of $7000 a year with on campus living, benefits and meals. Duties will include coaching a position group, film breakdown of opponents, recruiting assignment, weight room duties, along with other duties as assigned by the head coach. Southern Miss: Paul Gonella has joined the staff as executive to the head coach, per source. Gonnella has previous stops at Alabama and South Florida as the director of player personnel. Gonnella most recently served as CEO / Co-Founder of The Process, an independent recruiting operations program.
