NFL: Eric Grubman, the league’s executive vice president of business operations, is leaving the league after 14 seasons.

Oklahoma: Matt McMillen, who has been with the program almost two decades first as an administrative assistant to the head coach and most recently as the assistant athletic director for football operations since 2011, is retiring at the end of June. News OK points out that he still plans to work on projects with Bob Stoops and will go into business with Oklahoma City restaurateur Hal Smith who is opening an Irish pub named Matty McMillen’s.

Texas: Former Nebraska athletic director Shawn Eichorst is joining the Longhorns as the new executive senior associate athletics director for internal affairs, the school has announced. Also joining the athletic department is Drew Martin, who will be the executivee senior associate athletics director external affairs.

Carleton (D-III – MN): Carleton College in Northfield, MN, is seeking a seasonal offensive and defensive intern. Position compensation is 5K, no housing, no meals. West Georgia (D-II): Per source, Enrique Davis has been hired as the new running backs coach at UWG. Davis was previously on staff at Morehouse (D-II – GA) and has worked at the high school level in Georgia and Florida as well.

Marian (NAIA – IN): Marian University, located in Indianapolis, IN, is searching for two Graduate Assistant coaching positions – one on Offense (RB or WR) and the other on Defense (OLB). Incarnate Word (FCS): The University of the Incarnate Word is looking to fill a Video Coordinator Graduate Assistant position. This position will manage all aspects of the football video production department and provide assistance to the football staff with video needs including but not limited to recruiting videos, highlights and promotional videos, and videos for professional scouts. This position will supervise and train the video staff, oversee the filming and editing of football practices and games, manage video organization and storage, maintain inventory of video equipment, perform routine maintenance on video equipment and perform other duties as assigned. Ideal candidates would have prior experience in collegiate or professional football video, familiarity with creative video production software (Adobe), and social media experience.
