Misericordia (D-III – PA): Misericordia University has a defensive intern position available working with DBs or LBs. This will be a 10-month (August – May) stipend positon with some meals included but no housing and no benefits. Expectations are that you’ll coach your own position, run positional meetings, and have your own recruiting area. Assist with film breakdown, practice & game planning. Castleton (D-III – VT): Castleton University is looking for a home game for week 4 (Sept. 26) OR week 9 (Oct. 31) of the 2020 season. Castleton will reciprocate with an away game in the 2021 season. Samford (FCS – AL): Samford University seeks two unpaid volunteers (one offensive, one defensive) to begin May 2019. Applicants for these positions should be driven, diligent, and hardworking who want to get into college coaching. Responsibility includes film break down, Self-Scout, Opponent Scout, assisting in game planning and day to day responsibilities. Previous football experience preferred as well as knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio. Volunteers in the past have gone on to; The NFL, Division 1 GA Jobs, or have been promoted internally. McDaniel College (D-III – MD): McDaniel College invites applications for an Assistant Football Coach – Defensive Coordinator. Salary for this full-time, 12-month position is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Reporting to the Head Football Coach, the Defensive Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the defensive unit of the team, including practice and game planning, and overall management and coordination of assistant coaches in each defensive position. Additional responsibilities include assisting the Head Coach in all facets of the program to develop a competitive NCAA Division III Football program within the Centennial Conference on the field, in the classroom, and in the community. Dakota College (JC – ND): Dakota College at Bottineau has an opening for an Defensive Secondary Coach for the 2019 season. Responsibilities include coaching a position group, assisting in formulating game plans, some special teams duties, and some recruiting and S&C duties. Other duties on campus for extra pay will most likely be available including, but not limited to tutoring and academic monitoring of student-athletes. Salary for just the coaching aspect will be in the 3500-4000 range with a starting date of July 16, 2019 for either the season or the entire school year if interested in some Residence Life duties.
