LA Valley College (JC – CA): LAVC is seeking a Wide Receiver or Quarterbacks with recruiting coordinator duties. Primarily looking for coaches near or in the Los Angeles Area (SFV). The stipend only position will pay around $9,000 per season. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting in practice, game planning, video breakdown, analysis with Hudl, recruiting, academic oversight, and coaching their own position group. Preferred candidates will have prior experience playing and/or coaching with the WR or QB position. Must be able to commute to campus, have at least 2 years of coaching experience. Additionally, candidates who are dedicated, detail oriented, hardworking individuals, and who take pride in their work will be the first ones considered for this position. Westminster (D-III – MO): Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri is accepting applicants for a WR intern position. This will be a 10 month appointment startingAugust 1. Compensation is $250 per month and free housing. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: player retention, coaching the WR position group, game planning, practice planning, managing a recruiting area, video breakdown, and other duties assigned by the Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator. Louisiana-Lafayette: Director of player personnel Ryan Trichel has stepped down to spend more time with his family. Trichel spent seven seasons with the program, the last five as the director of player personnel.

UW-Stevens Point (D-III): Greg Breitbach, who spent the last five seasons as the head coach at Millersville (D-II – PA), has been announced as the new head coach. Breitbach previously served as an assistant coach with the program from 2003-06.

Defiance (D-III – OH): Defiance College is looking to hire an assistant football coach. Responsibilities will include but not be overall student-athlete instruction, coaching, recruiting and on-campus visit planning, game and practice planning, budget management, fundraising and student-athlete performance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting the mission of Defiance College, as well as adherence to institutional, HCAC, and NCAA policies and procedures. A bachelor’s degree, previous coaching experience, and a valid driver’s license are required; master’s degree preferred. This is a full-time, 10-month position (August 1-May 31) with an immediate start date this first year. Millsaps (D-III – Jackson, MS): Millsaps College is seeking a restricted earnings defensive assistant football coach. The position includes coaching defensive backs and will require some video responsibility (DVSport, HUDL) as well as other jobs assigned by the head coach or defensive coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for an individual recruiting area, have a valid driver’s license, a bachelor’s degree and pass a background check. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and have previous collegiate football playing or coaching experience. This is a two-year assistantship with a start date of August 1, 2017. Successful candidates must be accepted into the Defiance College graduate program in Education (MAE) or Business (MBA) and will be awarded a full graduate school tuition scholarship covering a maximum of 36 credit hours.
