Auburn: Offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey is moving from the field to the booth while offensive line coach Herb Hand will move from the booth to the field beginning with this week’s game against Mercer.

Toronto Argonauts (CFL): Per source, Jonathan Himebauch has been brought in to coach the offensive line for the remainder of the season. Himebauch most recently coached the offensive line at Nevada and has several years of experience in the CFL, including the 2015 season as the assistant head coach and offensive line coach with the Argos. Update> The Argos have now announced the hire.

Millsaps (D-III – MS): Offensive coordinator Kyle Skierski has added the title of assistant head coach, quarterbacks coach Ryan Meyers has added the title of recruiting coordinator and Aaron McGinty is now coaching the outside linebackers.

Hurricane Irma: The SEC has announced Florida’s home game with Tennessee will be played as scheduled at 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday in Gainesville.

Los Angeles Pierce College (CC): Head coach Jason Sabolic and defensive coordinator Torry Hughes have been let go.

Nebraska: Mike Riley’s contract was extended by a year to 2020 after last season, and NU president Hank Bounds told the Omaha World-Herald he believes they’ll extend Riley to 2021 in December. “I have great confidence in Mike, to extend his contract to four years,” Bounds told the paper. “I expect us to compete, and I have every confidence that we’ll extend it again in December.”

Hurricane Irma: South Florida’s home game with Illinois will be played as scheduled on Friday.

Northern Arizona (FCS): As we reported yesterday afternoon, Northern Arizona has announced this will be Jerome Souers’ final (20th) season as head coach. “Rather than wait until the end of the season, we want to celebrate Jerome’s 20 years of service with NAU. We want our university, Flagstaff and Big Sky communities to have the opportunity to thank him, and wish him the best in the next chapter of his life. I want to thank Jerome for his service to NAU and the football program,” AD Lisa Campos said.

Bryant (FCS – RI): Phoebe Schecter, who most recently worked as a coaching intern with the Buffalo Bills, has joined the Bryant football program.

Tennessee Tech (FCS): Per source, defensive coordinator Shawn Quinn has been relieved of his duties and we understand that special teams coordinator / defensive ends coach Dontae Wright will step in as the new defensive coordinator.
