Cal: Justin Wilcox has announced a restructuring to his staff. Beau Baldwin will continue as offensive coordinator while taking on quarterbacks duties, Marques Tuiasasopo will move to tight ends, and Charlie Ragle will now focus exclusively on special teams with no additional positional responsibilities. Burl Toler III will move from running backs to wide receivers, and Nicholas Edwards will switch from wide receivers to running backs. Steve Greatwood will continue to coach the offensive line. The only defensive change is that Peter Sirmon has added a co-defensive coordinator title to his existing titles of associate head coach and linebackers coach.

Eastern Washington (FCS): Associate head coach Eti Ena has been named defensive coordinator.

NFL: In an effort to prepare more minority coaches for NFL head coaching opportunities, the NFL may soon be required to place two minority coaches in “low level, quality control positions.”

Dodge City CC (JC – KS): Dodge City CC is looking for an offensive coordinator. Salary is competitive and benefits are provided. Preference will be given to those with QB experience, but will evaluate all others. Please send a resume to: [email protected] if interested.

UCLA: Bruce Feldman tweets that tight ends coach Derek Sage is being promoted to special teams coordinator.

West Virginia: Neal Brown has announced that three support staff members have joined the program from Troy; Mark Perry (director of football administration), Brian Bennett (director of player personnel), and Patrick Johnson (director of football operations). Each held similar positions on Brown’s staff at Troy.

Southern Miss: Per source, Alcorn State (FCS) offensive coordinator Ryan Stanchek is expected to join the Southern Miss staff as offensive line coach.

Miami Dolphins: The organization is sitting down for a second interview with Patriots defensive coordinator Brian Flores later this evening, Joe Schad tweets.

Weber State (FCS – UT): Weber HS (UT) head coach Matt Hammer is leaving his post to coach the inside linebackers at Weber State, per the Standard-Examiner. Hammer, who had been the leader of the program the past six seasons, previously served as the offensive coordinator at Weber State, and he steps in for longtime assistant Colton Swan, who left to become the linebackers coach at Utah.

San Francisco 49ers: Kyle Shanahan shared at his Senior Bowl presser that the organization is planning on creating a new position on staff that will be in charge of both strength and conditioning and head athletic training and will hold the working title of “Head Coach of Training,” per 247.

Buffalo Bills: Offensive assistant Chad Hall “appears to be in line” to be promoted to wide receivers coach, per Buffalo News. He would replace Terry Robiskie who was let go earlier this month and is now coaching the running backs for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

South Carolina: Tight ends coach Bobby Bentley, linebackers coach / special teams coach Coleman Hutzler, outside linebackers coach Mike Peterson and Nickels / Sam linebackers / special teams assistant Kyle Krantz are all working with contracts that expire May 31st, and athletic director Ray Tanner shared with Greenville.com that topic is something he and Will Muschamp have discussed and will be a part of “a future board agenda.”

Green Bay Packers: Milt Hendrickson has been hired as a senior personnel executive, per Tom Silverstein. The Athletic adds that he will hold the title of director of football operations. Hendrickson and Packers GM Brian Gutekunst previously coached together in the mid-90s at Wisconsin-La Crosse (D-III).

Kansas: Source tells FootballScoop that Erin Dunston is leaving Purdue to become the director of on campus recruiting at Kansas. Dunston worked at Purdue as an athletic administrative associate, working directly with the athletic director and previously worked at LSU with Les Miles in a graduate assistant capacity.

Auburn: As we shared earlier this morning, Carnell “Cadillac” Williams has now been announced as the program’s new running backs coach.

Indiana State (FCS): Former Sycamores quarterback Aaron Young has been named quarterbacks coach for the program. Young worked as an offensive graduate assistant assisting with the quarterbacks last season.

Lock Haven (D-II – PA): Lock Haven University is currently seeking a Defensive Back Restricted Earnings Assistant Football Coach for the upcoming spring. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, coaching your own position group, managing a recruiting area, film editing/breakdown, game/practice preparation, as well as other duties assigned by the head football coach. Applicants must display great work ethic and have collegiate coaching experience (student assistant or graduate assistant experience acceptable for candidate minimum qualification). A Bachelor’s degree and successful completion of a background check is required. Position will pay $4,000. Benefits, housing and meals are NOT included. The position will have a strong opportunity to become a 9/month $12,000 position following this spring. To apply, please submit a cover letter, resume and three references via this link. Auburn: A former Auburn great is expected to return to Auburn to coach the running backs…

Kansas City Chiefs: Adam Schefter tweets that Steve Spagnolo, the former Giants defensive coordinator, has emerged as the favorite for the vacant defensive coordinator job.

Greg Schiano: The former Ohio State defensive coordinator is down at the Senior Bowl in Mobile to explore his NFL opportunities and it appears “likely” that the Patriots will be the landing spot for Schiano in a “top defensive role,” Ian Rapoport tweets.

South Dakota State (FCS): Per source, Zak Lujan is moving from running backs coach to quarterbacks coach.

ASA Miami (JC – FL): ASA Miami Junior College is looking for a game against a JUCO for any of the following dates: September 14, October 26, November 9. Willing to set up home and home or meet in a neutral location. For more information contact Head Coach Chris Boden at [email protected].

Arkansas-Monticello (D-II): Per source, Bradley Brown will be the new defensive backs coach. He previously served as a student assistant and quality control coach at Georgia.

Alderson Broaddus (D-II – WV): Alderson Broaddus is looking to hire a full time quarterbacks coach / pass game coordinator. Previous college coaching or playing experience at the quarterback position is required. Please send cover letter and resume to [email protected].

Texas State: Tremaine Jackson, who had served as the defensive coordinator at Abilene Christian (FCS – TX), has joined the staff as defensive line coach.

Western Kentucky: Per source, WKU has made a number of additions to the staff; Arthur DiAngelo, a student assistant at USC, is joining the program as offensive graduate assistant, and Zach Lankford and Vince Lewis are also joining the staff in offensive quality control roles.

Grand View (NAIA – IA): Grand View University is seeking applicants for a full-time offensive assistant football coach which may possibly be a coordinator. This is a 12 month position. Email cover letter, resume and 3 references to [email protected].

Alabama: Last night, multiple reports shared that Virginia Tech wide receivers coach Holmon Wiggins is expected to join the Tide as their new wide receivers coach. Prior to following Justin Fuente to Virginia Tech, Wiggins coached the wide receivers at Memphis, the running backs at Tulsa and Illinois State, & served as a graduate assistant at New Mexico.

Kansas: Les Miles has added a current head coach to his staff.

Baker (NAIA – KS): Head coach Mike Grossner will not return, source tells FootballScoop. We understand defensive coordinator Jason Thoren has been named interim head coach.

Mercer (FCS – GA): Source tells FootballScoop thatMike Adams will be the new defensive coordinator at Mercer. He was most recently the defensive backs coach / special teams coordinator at Charleston Southern (FCS).

Slippery Rock (D-II – PA): Slippery Rock has an offensive graduate assistant position available in the fall working with the running backs. Inquiries can be directed to [email protected].

Saint Augustine University (D-II – NC)Saint Augustine University is looking for a home or away game for week 1 and week 2 (Sept. 7, Sept. 14) of the 2019 season.
