Birmingham (Alliance of American Football): Tim Lewis, a longtime NFL assistant coach and defensive coordinator in the league, has been name head coach of Birmingham’s Alliance of American Football team. Lewis has coached the secondary at Texas A&M, SMU, and Pitt as well, and last worked in the NFL as the defensive backs coach with the 49ers in 2015.

Idaho: Adam Breske has been announced as the new linebackers coach of the program. Breske, the son of Vandal defensive coordinator Mike Breske, previously coached the linebackers and special teams at Sioux Falls (D-II – SD). Tight ends coach Troy Purcell took over as special teams coordinator in the spring, and Breske will provide assistance in that area moving forward.

Buffalo State (D-III – NY): Buffalo State has an immediate opening for a secondary coach. Responsibilities include recruiting your own area, running your own meetings, working with Hudl, Front Rush. Bachelor’s degree preferred, playing and / or coaching experience. Compensation includes $14,500 (12 month) salary, and full NY State employee benefits. Florida HS: In April, Venice (FL) high school head coach John Peacock was fired after liking al allegedly racist tweet directed at a rival coach. Peacock did not hold back in his farewell letter. This morning, it is being reported that Peacock has been reinstated as head coach at Venice. Quite a read… 

Chuck Pagano: Asked if he wants to coach again on Good Morning Football today, the former Colts head coach stated, “Absolutely, I’m young. I’m 57 years old. I’ve got a couple years left in me. I’ve got unfinished business. I’d love to have another opportunity. I just love being around the guys, being on grass and competing.” Including the first season in Indy, where he missed four regular season games while battling cancer, Pagano’s head coaching career started with three straight 11-5 seasons then went 8-8 two straight seasons before slipping to 4-12 in 2017. Overall, Pagano has a 53-43 mark as an NFL head coach, with two first-place finishes in the AFC South.

Tarleton State (D-II – TX): Per source, Tarleton State assistant strength coach Stephanie Sharp has participated with the Falcons in the Bill Walsh Minority Fellowship program with the Atlanta Falcons earlier this spring. Sharpe is finishing her third year at Tarleton State after seven years as a full-time assistant strength and conditioning coach at Tulane.

McDaniel (D-III – MD): McDaniel College, located in Westminster, MD, is looking for a graduate assistant to work with the linebackers. Applicant will be required to coach their own position group, have their own recruiting area and perform all other duties assigned by the head coach. College coaching and/or playing experience preferred. Compensation package includes a stipend, full tuition waiver, housing and a meal plan. West Virginia Wesleyan (D-II – WV): WVWC has an immediate opening for a 10-month restricted-earnings position coaching the tight ends and inside receivers. Compensation includes a $10,000.00 stipend, housing, and some meals. Alabama: Joe Pendry, the former Tide offensive line coach who has been a special adviser to Saban as well as NFL liason for the program in recent seasons, is retiring, according to AL.com.

Dakota State (NAIA – SD): Dakota State University in Madison, SD is looking for a football graduate assistant to start in July. The graduate program is a Master’s in Educational Technology. This program from Dakota State is one of the best MSET Programs in the country. A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field is preferred but not necessary.  Video, Equipment, and recruiting experience a plus. Compensation is a stipend of $12,000 and 2/3 tuition reduction. Cost of living is also very affordable in Madison. This program is a 1-year Master’s program and a commitment longer than 1 year is not required. Alderson Broaddus (D-II – WV): Alderson Broaddus University has an opening for a defensive assistant coach. Preference will be given to coaches with secondary & special teams experience. Millersville (D-II – PA): Millersville University has an immediate opening for a Strength and Conditioning Coach. CSCS or SCCC certification is required. The successful candidate will manage all phases of the strength and conditioning program for Millersville Football. One of the 3 positions off field duties is as academic coordinator and the stipend is generous. We play a great schedule against D1 JV , JC and other top prep programs.
