Lindsey Wilson College: Former Concord University defensive coordinator / assistant head coach Mike Gutelius has accepted the defensive coordinator job at Lindsey Wilson College: Also, former Ohio Dominican assistant Brian Foos has joined the staff as offensive coordinator.
Valdosta State: We hear former Iowa defensive GA Seth Wallace has joined the staff as defensive backs coach.
The College at Brockport State University of New York: (NJAC football member) has a fulltime position open. This position will be a defensive positon coach, coordinate all aspects of video work on DSV, assitant special teams coordinator, recruiting, and all other responibilities that go with this position. Manchester College: Assistant Football Coach (Defensive Coordinator) and Instructor of Exercise and Sports Sciences (ESS) Responsibilities: Coordinate the entire defense and manage/supervise defensive coaches. Coordinator entire strength and conditioning program for the athletic department. Teach eight (8) hours in Exercise Science curriculum at the direction of the Department Chair. Recruit from an assigned territory and participate in student athlete visitation. Secondary job functions may include: advise ESS students; community service liaison for the football program; equipment coordinator for the football program; utilizing digital editing software; facilitator of JV football program; and monitor academic performance of football student athletes. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required with a Master’s degree preferred. Five years of collegiate coaching experience, preference given to those who have coordinated a defense using an odd front or 3-3 stack. Strength and conditioning experience with certification preferred and knowledge of the Bigger, Faster, Stronger lifting program. Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience in Health/Fitness/Physical Education.
