Georgia Southern: Co-offensive coordinators David Dean and Rance Gillespie will not return, Tyson Summers announced Sunday. Dean coached wide receivers while Gillespie handled quarterbacks.

Jeff Brohm: The Western Kentucky head coach has spoken with Baylor about the Bears’ opening, been offered the Purdue job and could be offered the Cincinnati job later today, according to a report from Chad Bishop of WBKO-TV.

Texas: Houston recruiting assistant Bryan Carrington is joining Tom Herman at Texas as assistant director of player personnel.

Washington: Chris Petersen said Sunday his pending extension won’t be for 10 years but he wants to remain in Seattle for a long time. With his Huskies headed to the College Football Playoff, Petersen said the extension isn’t a priority right now.

LA Rams: Head coach Jeff Fisher has signed a contract extension taking him through 2018, according to Ian Rapoport. Rap adds that “the long-discussed deal is believed to be for 2 years.” Fisher is 4-7 this season.
