Northwestern State (FCS – LA): Head coach Jay Thomas has told his team that today will be his last game leading the program. Thomas’ contract was set to expire at the end of the season, and the school decided to not renew it. Thomas, who was named head coach in 2013, was 20-36 overall with the program and they were 3-7 this year.

Waynesburg (D-III – PA): The University has removed the “interim” tag from head coach Chris Smithley, naming him the head coach of the Yellow Jackets.

Southwest Minnesota State (D-II): Southwest Minnesota State University is looking for a Director of Football Operations.   This is a Graduate Assistant position that will need experience with graphics, recruiting, equipment, and football-related operations.  Qualifications include acceptance into graduate school (3.0 minimum GPA), enrolled in a minimum of six credits per semester, and meet the MnSCU vehicle driving qualifications.  Compensation package includes $8,000/year and Full-Tuition waiver. Midwestern State (D-II – TX): Midwestern State is looking to fill open dates on September 1st and October 20 of 2018and September 7th, Semptember 14th and October 26th of 2019. Interested programs can contact Bill Maskill at [email protected].
