Matt Campbell: An examination of Campbell’s contract reveals his buyout to leave Iowa State at a staggeringly high number.

Coastal Carolina: Joe Moglia signed a new contract with the University reports WMBF news. The new contract runs through the 2020 season and includes a base salary of $400,000 and a number of incentives. Should the University choose to buy Moglia out of his contract it would cost them $200,000. If Moglia opted out, it would cost him $400,000.

CoachComm: CoachComm LLC, due to promotion of current Regional Manager, has an immediate opening for new Regional Sales Manager ( RSM) covering Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky. RSM will sell and support CoachComm’s full line of Sideline Communication, Practice management, and Event management systems. RSM will call on High Schools as well as Colleges at the D2, D3, NAIA, and Juco levels. Ideal candidate will have coaching and recruiting experience in these particular markets. Knowledge of Coaches and Administrative Personnel in this area is preferred as well. Sales experience is considered a plus. This is a full time, company employed position. Serious Inquiries Only. Send Resume to Mike Whitley, VP of Sales at [email protected].

Georgia Southern: Per his contract, Tyson Summers will be $25,000 per month for the next 36 months in connection with his buyout. Should he accept new employment, any funds received would reduce Georgia Southern’s payments dollar for dollar.

Indianapolis Colts: Stephen Holder, who covers the Colts for the Indy Star, tweets he doesn’t believe there will be a coaching change today, alluding to some inside knowledge. Following their 27-0 loss to the Jaguars yesterday, several Colts players were outspoken, some even questioning coaching decisions. The Colts are now 2-5 on the season with a three point victory over the winless Browns and an OT win over the 49ers. Chuck Pagano won 11 games in each of his first three seasons as head coach of the Colts; but won only 8 in each of the past two seasons and this year’s 2-5 start has not helped calm the situation.

Georgia Southern: Yesterday, Georgia Southern decided to move on from the Tyson Summers era. Read more here.
