Alabama: Former Crimson Tide defensive back Geno Smith has joined the staff in an “intern-like capacity,” according to Aaron Suttles of the Tuscaloosa News.

UW-Stevens Point (D-III – WI): UW-Stevens Point is looking for an assistant coach to coach the offensive line. This is a full time position that will also have duties in athletic administration: games management and sports information. See a full job description and apply via this link. Susquehanna (D-III – PA): Susquehanna University seeks an assistant football coach- defensive coordinator / recruiting coordinator. This is a full-time 12 month position.  Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 3-5 years of coaching experience. Candidates will be responsible for coaching the linebackers, coordinating the defense and recruiting.  All other duties will be assigned by the head coach. TCU: Neville HS (LA) offensive coordinator Brett Lemoine is joining the TCU staff as director of high school relations, per KTVE/KARD.

UVA-Wise (D-II): Following the departure of Joey Fitzgerald to Southern Louisiana, UVA-Wise is promoting James Guest to passing game coordinator / wide receivers coach / special teams coordinator. Guest coached the running backs and tight ends and previously spent two years at UT-Martin (FCS) coaching the running backs and quarterbacks.

Susquehanna (D-III – PA): Susquehanna University seeks assistant football coaches for offense and defense. Preferred candidates will have prior experience playing or coaching. Candidates will be responsible for coaching their own position group, on the road recruiting in a specific area, film editing/breakdown (HUDL), and all other duties assigned by the head football coach. A Bachelor’s degree and valid driver’s license is required. Salary range is $6,000 – $8,000. No housing, but some meals are included. Candidates will be expected to be here 10 months. Presentation (NAIA – SD): Presentation College has an opening for a full time assistant coach.  The coach will work primarily with the running cacks / tight ends, play a large role in special teams, and will have duties in coordinating the program’s strength & conditioning. Emory and Henry (D-II – VA): Quintin Hunter, who coached the running backs last season, has been promoted to offensive coordinator and will now work with the quarterbacks. Billy Ray Stutzmann will work as the passing game coordinator and Matt Kardulis (a former defensive back with the program) will coach the runningbacks while Josh Wellenhoffer continues to work with the offensive line.
