ESPN: Today is a hard day for many at ESPN and within the profession as ESPN is laying off a number of employees, including many who cover college football & the NFL. Our hopes are that each person involved will find their silver lining & emerge stronger.

Case Western Reserve (D-III – OH): Case Western Reserve has a part time coaching opening, working with either RBs or WRs. Compensation is $2,500 for the season. Interested candidates can contact [email protected].

Susquehanna (D-III – PA): Susquehanna University seeks an assistant football coach to work with the offensive line. Preferred candidates will have prior experience playing or coaching. Candidates will be responsible for coaching their own position group, on the road recruiting in a specific area, film editing/breakdown (HUDL), and all other duties assigned by the head football coach. A Bachelor’s degree and valid driver’s license is required. Salary will be $12,000 and includes medical benefits and some meals. No housing. Ohio Northern (D-III): Ohio Northern University is accepting applications for a restricted earnings position with primary responsibility for coaching running backs. The successful candidate will also be responsible for a specific recruiting area, work directly with practice and game video, and other duties as assigned.  Compensation includes monthly stipend, potential housing on campus, and some meals. Idaho State (FCS): After leaving the staff for Montana back in January, Matt Troxel has returned to the Idaho State staff as offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach.

Whittier (D-III – CA): Whittier College, a Division III Football Program in Los Angeles, CA is seeking applicants for a graduate assistant coaching position (RB or WR preferred). Qualifications include acceptance into graduate school (3.0 minimum GPA, plus entrance exams). The position includes a monthly stipend of $200, some meals, and free graduate school (Masters Edu.). No housing, or benefits are included, so candidates currently living in or around L.A., or with the ability to relocate to Los Angeles are more likely to make this position work effectively based on the pay of this position. The successful candidate will coach his own position, run positional meetings, contribute to the weekly gameplan, have video editing duties (HUDL), and have his own recruiting area. Avila (NAIA – MO): Avila University, located in Kansas City, MO, is seeking an offensive graduate assistant coach. The candidate must have quarterback playing or quarterback coaching experience. This is a 12-month coaching job that includes tuition to graduate school and a $7,000 stipend. Responsibilities will include: coaching the quarterback position, assisting with weekly scouting, game planning, film-breakdown, recruiting, and other tasks assigned by the head coach.
