    Arizona State: Senior associate head coach Paul Randolph is “making a career change and moving into an administrative role in the Sun Devils Athletics Department” and Todd Graham has hired Shawn Slocum as associate head coach / special teams coordinator / outside linebackers. Slocum, RC’s son, coached the special teams for the Green Bay Packers for the last nine seasons. Randolph’s new title will be associate athletic director for championship life.

    William and Mary (FCS – VA): Marvin Clecidor has now been announced as the defensive backs coach, Trey Henderson will oversee all of the defensive secondary and will continue to serve as recruiting coordinator, and Joe Brady will now serve as video coordinator and will continue to work with the Tribe linebackers.

    Oregon State: Gary Andersen has announced that inside linebackers coach Ilaisa Tuiaki has added special teams coordinator duties.

    Eastern Illinois: Mark Hutson, who served as offensive coordinator / offensive line coach at EIU from 2003-2005 and as interim head coach in 2006, has returned to the program as offensive line coach. Hutson spent the last three years as an assistant with the Oakland Raiders.

    Southwest Baptist University (D-II – MO): Southwest Baptist University is looking to fill one open date on 11-7-15. We will play FCS, D2 or an NAIA school to fill this date. Possible home and home for 2016 season. Will consider all options. Please contact assistant head coach Robert Clardy at

    ASA Miami (JC – FL): Former North Carolina player and grad assistant Tommy Richardson has been named head coach. ASA Miami opened in the Spring of 2014 and is the only Junior College that plays football in Florida.

    Florida A&M: Former offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Quinn Gray has been named head coach at Duval Charter HS (FL).

    Morehead State (FCS – KY): John Perin has been hired to coach the defensive backs and special teams at Morehead State. Perin spent last season as a grad assistant at Eastern Michigan, and the year before that as the defensive coordinator at Capital (D-III – OH).

    Montana Tech (NAIA): Montana Tech has an immediate opening for an offensive line coach. This is a fulltime 10 month contract position, with benefits. Primary responsibilities include coaching the offensive line, and assisting the head coach in all phases of the football program. Other responsibilities include assisting the offensive coordinator with run game planning, recruiting a specific region, and film editing.     Minnesota: The Gophers have announced the hiring of Terry Szucs as a defensive quality control assistant and Adam Weber as an offensive graduate assistant.

    Northern Arizona (FCS): Northern Arizona University is looking to hire an assistant football coach – offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach. Previous Division 1 collegiate coaching experience is required. Interested candidates must apply through the NAU Human Resources website here.

    Northern Illinois: Ross Watson’s role at NIU will be linebackers coach, head coach Rod Carey noted today. Watson is a former Youngstown State assistant.

    Youngstown State: YSU has announced 9 of Bo Pelini’s assistant coaches; Shane Montgomery (OC / QBs), Carmen Bricillo (OL), Ron Brown (associate HC / RBs), Brian Crist (WRs), Kyle Brey (TEs), Ron Stoops, Jr. (DC), TJ Hollowell (LBs), Richard McNutt (DBs), and Tim Marlowe (assistant secondary). Additionally, per source, while not finalized yet, multiple sources tell FootballScoop that Carl Pelini will join the staff.

    Northern Arizona (FCS): Northern Arizona University is looking to hire an assistant football coach – offensive line. Previous Division 1 collegiate coaching experience is required. Interested candidates must apply through the NAU Human Resources website here.

    West Virginia: Former Youngstown State assistant Dan Gerberry is joining Holgo’s staff as an offensive grad assistant working with the tight ends, per Dana Balash. Gerberry coached the YSU tight ends last season.

    Mississippi State: Football recruiting assistant Brian Squeglia has been promoted to football recruiting specialist, per source.

    Concordia University (NAIA – Ann Arbor, MI): Concordia is accepting applications for an offensive graduate assistant. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: coaching a position group, managing a recruiting area, video breakdown, and other duties assigned by the head coach and offensive coordinator.     Austin College (D-III – TX): Austin College is currently accepting applications for assistant football coach (offensive line / Campus Fitness Center Director).     Notre Dame: Brian Kelly has officially announced the hirings of Autry Denson (RBs), Keith Gilmore (DL), Todd Lyght (DBs), and Mike Sanford (OC / QBs). Also, receivers coach Mike Denbrock has added the associate head coach for offense title, Mike Elston will coach the linebackers and be the recruiting coordinator, Ron Powlus will serve as director of player development, Bob Elliott will be a special assistant to the head coach, and Maurice Crum Jr. and Donovan Raiola have joined the staff as grad assistants.

    Trinity College (D-III – CT): Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut is accepting applications for a graduate assistant (position TBD). Candidates will be responsible for coaching their own position group, recruiting a specific area, assisting in video editing and breakdowns, and performing all other duties assigned by the head coach and athletic director. Compensation includes a stipend, housing, meals, and full tuition remission at Trinity’s graduate school. Preferred candidates will have at least one year of coaching experience and knowledge of DVSport video editing software.     Temple: Temple has now formally announced the addition of Frisman Jackson as receivers coach, Glenn Thomas as quarterbacks coach, and Adam DiMichele (who coached the receivers last season) has been reassigned to director of player development.

    Miami Dolphins: Head analyst Dennis Lock has been promoted to director of analytics.

    Davidson (FCS – NC): With offensive coordinator Bush Hamdan leaving for a position at the University of Washington, sources tell us that Paul Nichols plans to hire a quarterbacks coach & promote from within to fill the offensive coordinator role.

    Los Angeles Valley College (JC – CA): Reggie Stover, who spent last season as the pass game coordinator / receivers coach at Salesian HS (CA), has joined the LAVC staff in the same role, per source.

    Occidental (D-III – CA): Per source, Occidental College has hired Wilbert Gilmore, Jr. as their new linebackers coach. Gilmore was part of the Gonzaga College HS (Washington, DC) staff last season.

    Villanova: Yale special teams and defensive line intern/grad assistant Mark Powell has joined the Villanova staff in a restricted earnings position, per source.

    Methodist University (D-III – NC): Methodist University invites applicants for opening of assistant coach (defensive coordinator). Preference given to demonstrated ability in a 3-4 Scheme. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required. Demonstrated ability in recruitment of student-athletes (Division III experience preferred).     Morgan State (FCS – MD): Morgan State has named Mike Fanoga as its defensive coordinator.

    Grand Valley State (D-II – MI): Head coach Matt Mitchell has relinquished defensive play-calling duties to co-defensive coordinator Joe Louis.

    Troy: Contract information for Neal Brown’s coaching staff has been uncovered by the Dothan Eagle: new hires salaries include defensive coordinator Vic Koenning: $250,000; assistant head coach/linebackers coach Jon Sumrall; $190,000; co-offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Matt Moore, $170,000; defensive line coach Byron Hardmon $85,000; and wide receivers coach Cornelius Williams, $80,000. Holdovers from Larry Blakeney’s staff include co-offensive coordinator Kenny Edenfield ($116,699), associate head coach Shayne Wasden ($115,961), cornerbacks coach Al Pogue  ($90,000) and quarterbacks/running backs coach Sean Reagan ($88,818).

    Yale: Yale is expected to name former Boston College linebackers coach/special teams coordinator Sean McGowan as defensive coordinator and Maine defensive line coach Jordan Stevens as its defensive line coach according to the New Haven Register.

    Nebraska: New defensive backs coach Brian Stewart will earn $400,000 in 2015 and $425,000 in 2016 according to the Lincoln Journal-Star.

    Hobart College (D-III – NY): Quarterbacks coach Jon Drach has been promoted to offensive coordinator.

    Washington Redskins: AJ Smith, who has spent the past two seasons with the Redskins as a senior exectutive, has announced that he will be retiring. Smith spent 2003-2012 as the GM of the San Diego Chargers.

    Harvard University (FCS – MA): Harvard University has a Defensive Assistant position open.  Previous collegiate coaching experience is preferred and working with XOS software is a plus.     Louisiana College (D-III): Per source, Dennis Dunn has completed his staff with the promotion of offensive grad assistant Josh Bonadona to running backs coach. We understand that there are currently no open positions on staff.

    Northwestern: Per source, Northwestern has shuffled their staff and currently have no open positions. We hear that offensive quality control assistant David Girardi is moving into a defensive grad assistant role, defensive quality control assistant Keegan Grant wil transition to an offensive quality control job, recruiting assistant Joe Martin is moving to defense quality control and recruiting intern Sean Conley will now serve as a recruiting assistant.

    Wofford (FCS – SC): Former Adams State (D-II – CO) pass game coordinator / receivers coach Steve Neal has accepted the on-campus recruiting coordinator job, per source.

    Oregon: Northwestern defensive grad assistant Kwame Agyeman has accepted a defensive grad assistant jobs with the Ducks, per source. Agyeman played his college ball at Oregon.

    Warner (NAIA – FL): Per source, former Pittsburgh Steeler Dallas Baker has been named wide receivers coach and former Florida defensive grad assistant Chuck Bell will be the program’s new linebackers coach / recruiting coordinator.

    Washington Redskins: Former Titans quarterbacks coach Dave Ragone has joined the Redskins in an offensive quality control role.

    Detroit Lions: Senior personnel adviser James Harris, who has spent six decades in professional football, has decided to retire.

    San Diego Mesa College (JC – CA): Peter Lofthouse has been named head coach at San Diego Mesa College. Lofthouse previously served as the offensive coordinator at Citrus College and also coached as a GA at Baylor and as wide receivers coach at Texas Lutheran.

    Georgia Southern: After a remarkable first FBS season, the school has announced a $100,000 raise (effective July 1, 2015) for head coach Willie Fritz, meaning he will make $500,000 during the 2015-2016 season. The Eagles went 9-3 this past season, including a perfect 8-0 in Sun Belt Conference play.

    Ferris State (D-II – MI): Ferris State is looking to fill an open date on 9/5/2015. Willing to pay a guarantee for a home game. Willing to discuss all options, including playing FCS team.​ Please contact if interested.

    South Florida: Blake Treadwell, who was an assistant at East Lansing HS (MI) last season, has joined the USF staff as an offensive grad assistant. Treadwell played offensive line at Michigan State. Also, UTSA defensive grad assistant Benny Morrison has joined the staff in the same capacity.

    Mississippi State: The Bulldogs have (finally) announced a four-year extension for Dan Mullen. What this means for Mullen and the coming anarchy in the SEC West.

    Oklahoma State: In addition to Greg Adkins, Mike Gundy has announced the hiring of four assistants. Marcus Arroyo and Jason McEndoo will join Adkins as unspecified on-the-field assistants, and Bill Clay and Darrell Wyatt have been added as analysts.

    Erie Community College (NY): Scott Pilkey was introduced as head coach on Thursday.

    Wagner (FCS – NY): Per source, secondary coach Ryan Fullen will be taking over the defensive coordinator duties, and linebackers coach and recruiting coordinator Tony Brinson has added the title of special teams coordinator.

    Oklahoma State: Former Buffalo Bills tight ends coach Greg Adkins will become the new offensive line coach at Oklahoma State, per source. Adkins was with the Bills the past two seasons and previously coached the offensive line at Syracuse, Tennessee, Troy and Georgia.

    Minot State (D-II – ND): Minot State is looking to hire an offensive and defensive grad assistant. Previous collegiate experience coaching or playing is required. The job includes coaching a position, recruiting, use of digital editing system, and other administrative duties as assigned by the head coach and coordinator. The position will begin August 1st.
