    Cincinnati Christian (NAIA): C. Shaun Owens has joined the staff as defensive backs coach. Owens coached the same position at Central State University last season.

    Brevard College (D-II – NC): Per source, Hampden Academy (ME) head coach Kevin Canty is joining the staff as offensive line coach.

    Limestone College (D-II – SC): Head coach Bobby James has announced a number of moves including the promotion of Joe Stockton to offensive coordinator. Michael Enoch has been promoted to defensive line coach and Josh Davis has been promoted to receivers coach.

    Texas A&M Commerce (D-II): Per source, Drew Hollingshead has been promoted to receivers coach.

    Mount Ida College (D-III – MA): Mount Ida College, in Newton, MA, competing in the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference, is currently seeking applications for the position of Assistant Football Coach for the upcoming season.     Virginia Tech: Defensive backs coach Torrian Gray’s letter of appointment has been renewed through June 30, 2016 according to Hokie beat writer Andy Bitter. Gray’s salary will remain at $275,000. Eight of the nine Hokie assistants have letters of appointment that end next June, with the exception of defensive coordinator Bud Foster (who is under contract through 2019).

    Mid-American Conference: The league has named Kerri Krawczak as the conference’s director of football operations and external relations.

    Wisconsin-River Falls (D-III): UW-River Falls has an immediate opening for a part-time assistant football coach. Both offensive and defensive candidates are encouraged to apply.     Liberty (FCS): At Liberty, per source, Kettie Fickter will be promoted to director of player personnel (perhaps the only female in that role).

    Eastern Kentucky (FCS): Per source, Liberty director of player personnel Charlie Skalaski III is joining the staff at EKU as associate head coach, receivers and recruiting coordinator.

    Appalachian State: SI is reporting that South Florida tight ends / special teams coordinator Stu Holt is expected to join the App State staff. Earlier this month, App State running backs coach Chris Foster stepped down leaving a full-time opening on the staff. We can confirm the move.

    West Texas A&M (D-II): Andrew Myers has accepted the defensive line grad assistant position, per source. Myers served as the defensive line coach at IMG Academy (FL) the past two seasons.

    Houston: Defensive coordinator Todd Orlando will earn $501,000 a year over a two-year contract according to Joseph Duarte of the Houston Chronicle. Duarte believes that makes Orlando the highest-paid Group of Five assistant.

    NCAA: NCAA president Mark Emmert received $1.8 million of compensatoin in 2013 according to tax documents obtained by USA Today.

    St. Olaf (D-III – MN): St. Olaf College has an immediate opening for an assistant coach (offense). The position is a stipend position with a potential for reduced housing. Master’s degree is preferred, college coaching experience with either offensive line or quarterback experience is preferred. Compensation will be based on experience. Responsibilities/requirements include, but are not limited to the following: coaching a position group, have an assigned local and national recruiting area, extensive knowledge in word, power point, and excel to create and analyze opponents in detailed scouting reports.     Maryland: Head coach Randy Edsall has agreed to a three-year extension through the 2019 season, the school has announced. The extension will be worth $7.5 million beginning in January of 2017 (with $500,000 of that guaranteed). Maryland would owe Edsall just $500,000 if terminated between January of 2017 and January of 2018. After a rough first few seasons, the Terps seem to have turned things around on the field the past two seasons.

    McDaniel College (D-III – MD): McDaniel College seeks applicants for a part-time assistant coach. The position includes evening and weekend travel within the mid-Atlantic region for competition, recruiting and for training sessions.     Pacific (D-III – OR): Defensive coordinator Marc Moody has been promoted to defensive coordinator / linebackers coach. Also, Lukkes Gilgan has been hired as defensive backs coach / equipment manager, offensive line coach / run game coordinator Ian Falconer has added the title of assistant head coach, and recruiting coordinator / quarterbacks coach Matt Wade will assume full offensive coordinator duties this year.
