Lake Forest (D-III – IL): Bill Lund, who recently shared with us his difficult decision to step down from his post coaching the linebackers and coordinating the special teams at Saginaw Valley State (D-II – MI) to move closer to his father-in-law who is battling some serious health issues, has joined the Lake Forest staff in a part-time role coaching the wide receivers.

New Research: Quick Vertical Shots to Protect Base RPOs – As a 10 personnel outfit that sees mainly six-man boxes, Quabbin High School (MA) needs to continually devise ways to attack edge defenders in the RPO game. While this may be commonplace thinking, in X&O Labs clinic report Head Coach David Buchanan and OC Harrison Ingles explain how they have added the ability to attack the defender that is being assigned to make that tackle against the pass (usually a safety or corner) to their RPO arsenal. Arizona State: Athletic director Ray Anderson will receive a contract extension in the near future, according to AZ Central, who add that details are still being completed on the deal. Anderson is entering his fourth year leading Sun Devil athletics, and his current deal runs through February 4, 2019 with a base salary of $642,600.
