    Coastal Carolina: Coastal Carolina University is looking to immediately fill a senior recruiting intern position. In this position you will be directly involved in all day to day recruiting operations as well as assist the recruiting coordinator in all aspects of the recruiting program.     ASA Miami (JC): Offensive coordinator Ernest T. Jones is being promoted to head coach we are told. Jones, the former running backs coach at UConn, previously worked at Notre Dame, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Alcorn State (as head coach), Central Michigan and other places.

    Georgia: The University of Georgia Football Recruiting Department is looking to fill the role Assistant Recruiting Operations Coordinator. This is an intern position in a highly functional, multi-operational recruiting department in one of the most competitive recruiting environments in the country.     Southwest Minnesota State (D-II): Southwest Minnesota State University is looking for an offensive graduate assistant (running backs / strength and conditioning). Qualifications include acceptance into graduate school (3.0 minimum GPA), enrolled in a minimum of six credits per semester, and meet the MnSCU vehicle driving qualifications.     Dakota State (NAIA – SD): Dakota State University is looking for 1-2 unpaid interns for the Fall and/or Spring. The intern would gain credit towards internship hours and the mentorship would be as “hands on” as it could get. The intern would have the unique opportunity to become the “Head” coach for a team. A minimum of 20 hours per week will be required and up to 40 hours may be needed. The right candidate would have the desire to become a Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, love to learn, and train themselves. Cost of living is cheap. You can get an apartment in the area for $200 a month. This is a GREAT opportunity for someone looking to gain a lot of experience.     Texas A&M-Commerce (D-II): Per source, John Campbell has joined the staff as linebackers coach / assistant head coach. Campbell spent the past eight seasons leading the program at San Antonio Brandeis HS (TX).

    ASA-Miami (JC – FL): Per source, head coach Tommy Richardson has resigned. Richardson was named head coach back in March and was a graduate assistant at North Carolina prior to that.

    Memphis: Former Tulsa head coach Bill Blankenship will work with the Memphis staff as an offensive analyst this season, Blankenship told Fox 23. We understand that this is not yet a done deal, but everything could be finalized by the end of this week.

    Western New Mexico (D-II): Western New Mexico University is searching for a wide receivers coach. This is a restricted earnings position for $10,000 and housing. There will be some minor responsibilities with our housing department as well. Experience coaching or playing WR in college is preferred. Must be able to relocate immediately.     LaGrange (D-III – GA): Per source, University of Central Arkansas assistant offensive line / director of football operations Robert Cunningham has joined Matt Mumme’s staff as offensive line / run game coordinator.

    University of Buffalo: We understand that safeties coach DJ Vokolek has added the title of assistant head coach and that Grant Murray has joined the staff as offensive quality control. Murray coached the offensive line this past spring at Ellsworth (JC – IA)and was a grad assistant at Southwest Minnesota State (D-II) before that.

    New Mexico Highlands: New Mexico Highlands is no longer taking applications for their open position and have begun the hiring process to fill the position. Thank you for overwhelming interest.

    Buffalo Bills: The Bills have announced they will suspend offensive line coach Aaron Kromer without pay for the first six regular season games of 2015.

    Florida Tech (D-II): Florida Tech assistant offensive line coach Mike Nahl has officially accepted the Bayside High School head coaching job. The Florida Tech football staff would like to wish him the best of luck.

    San Jose State: Long Beach City College offensive coordinator Sean Flynn has accepted a quality control position at San Jose State.

    Southern Nazarene (D-II – OK): Southern Nazarene University is looking for candidate for a open position on defense, coaching the defensive line or linebackers. This would be a stipend position for the fall of 2015 with the possibility of a full time spot in 2016. SNU is a faith based, NCAA Division II university in the greater Oklahoma City area.     Houston: The Houston Chronicle has uncovered salary information for Tom Herman’s assistants – defensive coordinator Todd Orlando, $501,000; offensive coordinator Major Applewhite, $301,000; associate head coach/co-defensive coordinator/safeties coach Craig Naivar, $301,000; offensive line coach Derek Werehime, $205,000; defensive line coach Oscar Giles, $201,000; special teams coordinator/cornerbacks coach Jason Washington, $176,000; tight ends coach Corby Meekins, $161,000; running backs coach Kenith Pope, $151,000; and wide receivers coach Drew Mehringer, $116,000.

    Georgia: Tight ends coach/co-special teams coordinator John Lilly and outside linebackers coach Kevin Sherrer each received raises taking their salaries to $305,000, according to information obtained by the Athens Banner-Herald. Georgia’s nine assistants will earn $4.81 million in 2015.
