Castleton (D-III – VT): Castleton University has an intern position open on the offensive side of the ball coaching wide receivers and will also have special team responsibilities. The position comes with a stipend of 8-10k, assistance with meals, off-campus part time work opportunities and the ability to become the next Graduate Assistant (3.0 undergraduate GPA preferred). The position does not include housing or benefits. Having ties to the Northeast and previous playing or coaching experience is preferred. Tennessee Titans: Luke Steckel has been promoted from offensive assistant to assistant wide receivers coach.

Connecticut: Randy Edsall said Tuesday special teams duties will be split amongst the staff.

Louisiana-Monroe: ULM is seeking a director of athletic video services. Minimum qualifications and requirements include includes a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree preferred; collegiate experience preferred; Collegiate Experience preferred; Strong oral and written communication skills; Organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and details effectively; Ability to effectively interact with a wide variety of constituencies; Must maintain a thorough knowledge of NCAA, Sun Belt, and ULM rules and regulations; Ability to meet established deadlines; Proficient knowledge of DVSport or similar video editing software; and proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Caldwell (D-II – NJ): Caldwell University is looking to hire four part time coaches starting this spring for sprint football. Job duties include but are not limited to, assisting with student athlete recruitment, ensuring proper maintenance of records, supplying the compliance officer with required paperwork when assigned, supporting the head coach in the coaching and managing the total intercollegiate program, scouting opponents when applicable, assisting in the coaching and supervising of all games, scrimmages, and practices, making travel arrangements, and driving vehicles if necessary. Applications can be sent here.

Houston Texans: Owner Bob McNair told John McClain of the Houston Chronicle the Texans will wait until next offseason to discuss an extension with head coach Bill O’Brien. O’Brien is in the fourth season of a 5-year deal. McClain notes contemporary hires Mike Zimmer and Jay Gruden have been given 2-year extensions, though O’Brien owns more wins than both and a playoff victory while Zimmer and Gruden do not.

Utah: East Los Angeles College (JC) offensive coordinator Art Hoomiritana has joined the Utah staff, source tells FootballScoop. We understand coach Hoomiritana will work with the defensive guys at Utah.

Kennesaw State (FCS – GA): Receivers coach Mike Daniels has joined the Princeton HS (OH) staff as head coach.

Marshall: The Thundering Herd has formally announced Dallas Baker as its new wide receivers coach. A former Florida wideout, Baker spent 2016 coaching wide receivers at Warner (NAIA – FL).

Oklahoma State: “Several influential university figures” are advocating for AD Mike Holder’s retirement, with the school pursuing the possibility of hiring an AD-in-waiting, according to Bill Haisten of the Tulsa World. Holder has been the Cowboys’ AD since 2005 and a member of the OSU athletics department since 1966.

Sam Houston State: Defensive backs coach Clayton Carlin has been promoted to defensive coordinator.

Gustavus Adolphus (D-III – MN): Per source, defensive coordinator Corey Shea has resigned. Lucas Kleinschrodt is listed as interim defensive coordinator.
