Buffalo Bills: Zak Kromer, the son of offensive line coach Aaron Kromer, is now serving as a coaching assistant with the Bills.

East Central (JC – MS): East Central CC is seeking a highly motivated offensive restricted earnings assistant that has playing or coaching experience with running backs, tight ends. This position requires competent computer skills (HUDL, and microsoft office). Compensation includes a small 10 month stipend plus room and board. The College of New Jersey (D-III): The College of New Jersey is accepting applications for a part time assistant football coach. The position reports to the Interim Head Football Coach and will be responsible for coaching the Offensive Line or the Defensive Line. Other responsibilities will include assisting in the planning of practice and games, pre-practice field prep, individual position and staff meetings, as well as other duties assigned by the head football coach. Compensation is a seasonal stipend. No housing, tuition reimbursement, or benefits are provided with this position. Local candidates are encouraged to apply. Faulkner University (NAIA – AL): Faulkner, located in Montgomery AL, has a grad assistant position available (either side of the ball). Full tuition and $4,500 stipend. Start as soon as possible. Email [email protected]

Big Ten: Commissioner Jim Delany speculated Tuesday he has no more than five-to-six more years on the job before retiring. Delany has run the Big Ten since 1989.

Kentucky Christian University (NAIA): Kentucky Christian has hired Darryl Lynch as Linebacker Coach (former All-MAC LB at Bowling Green State University). Thanks for the tremendous interest in the position.

North Texas: Regents have scheduled a Friday teleconference where the school’s new AD could be announced soon after, according to Brett Vito of the Denton Record-Chronicle. Vito reports Central Arkansas AD Brad Teague and Missouri deputy AD Wren Baker are “names to watch” here.

Rockford University (D-III – IL): Rockford University is looking for a graduate assistant football coach. Candidate must be admitted into the an RU Graduate Program (provisional admittance accepted during the first semester of employment). Consideration will be given to qualified candidates on either offense or defense. Compensation includes tuition remission, housing, a monthly stipend and meals when school is in session. ESPN: Tom Jackson, who has been with the network since 1987, is “not likely” to return to Sunday NFL Countdown according to a report from the New York Daily News. Jackson was recognized in 2015 by the Pro Football Hall of Fame with the Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award for excellence in broadcasting.

Presentation (NAIA – SD): Presentation College has finalized their coaching staff with the hirings of Neil Linhart (RBs / TEs / co-special teams coordinator), Paytton Hobbs (LBs / co-special teams coordinator), and Chuck Meisbauer (DC).

Culver-Stockton (NAIA – MO): Culver-Stockton College is accepting applications for two part-time assistant football coaches. The part-time assistant coaches will assist with coaching defensive positions (1 open coaching position) and offensive positions (1 open coaching position) and special consideration will be given to candidates who could also assist with the Track and Field program. The position reports to the head football coach and is responsible for assisting with the coaching of defensive and/or offensive positions and assisting in administering the entire operation of the program. Responsibilities will include recruitment of student-athletes, film breakdown and evaluation, practice planning, participation in player skill development, meetings with players and staff and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Candidates should have success coaching or playing football, preferably at the collegiate level, the ability to recruit and motivate student-athletes, a strong commitment to academic success as well as compliance with NAIA, Heart, and institutional policies and procedures. Start date will be August 1st 2016 and is a 10 month, hourly appointment, paying a maximum of $8,000. Screening of applicants will begin immediately. Georgia Prep Sports Academy (Postgrad – Atlanta, GA): GPSA is looking to add an assistant football coach to the staff. We would like to interview a team player that can walk, talk, and teach high school offensive or defensive skills.
