Tennessee Tech (FCS): Source tells FootballScoop head coach Marcus Satterfield will not return. Satterfield, the former Temple offensive coordinator, went 5-6 in his first season as head coach but the Golden Eagles only won one game this season.

UCLA: Head coach Jim Mora has been let go, the school has announced. Offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch will serve as interim head coach for the remainder of the season. AD Dan Guerrero announced a national search will begin immediately with support from Casey Wasserman and Troy Aikman. Read more about the decision & candidates here. UCLA announced they will honor the terms of his buyout (over $12 million), paying for it “exclusively with department generated funds”. Today is Jim’s birthday.

New Orleans Saints: The Advocate is reporting that assistant GM Jeff Ireland has recently received a contract extension, noting that it’s not clear when the deal was reached and that the deal would also not stop teams from reaching out to him about general manager openings.

Ole Miss: Ole Miss offered their head coaching position to Oregon head coach Willie Taggart according to a report from a collection of writers at SB Nation. The report says Taggart turned the Rebels down. Update> SB Nation updated their article to say Taggart has not been offered the job. They now report Ole Miss has interest in Taggart, Mike Norvell & Charlie Strong.

Oregon: The same SB Nation article referenced above adds that although Taggart turned down the Ole Miss job he does “hope to land a job in the Southeast”. [Reminder, Taggart has been at Oregon less than a year.] A while back we wrote about Taggart’s buyoutUpdate> SB Nation has removed the reference to Taggart looking to leave Oregon from their article.

FCS: The playoff bracket has been released.

Tennessee: Dan Mullen & Greg Schiano are candidates per the above referenced SB Nation article.

Florida: Florida AD Scott Stricklin wants to hire Scott Frost (per same SB Nation report); however they add that “Florida is worried about Frost’s ability to build out a staff of SEC recruiters”. They add Florida would want Frost to retain Randy Shannon and perhaps other defensive staff members.

Florida A&M (FCS): Sources tell FootballScoop the administration has decided head coach Alex Wood will not be retained. Official action & announcement is expected in the coming days.

Oregon State: Cal offensive coordinator Beau Baldwin and Virginia head coach Bronco Mendenhall are “person(s) of interest” in the Oregon State search, according to John Canzano of The Oregonian. Canzano reports that Mendenhall was the runner-up last time around when the Beavers chose Gary Andersen in 2014.

#Nuggets: Jon Gruden’s whereabouts were the most interesting thing to happen in college football on Saturday, Wisconsin passes its one test and other Week 12 thoughts
