Waynesburg (D-III – PA): Waynesburg University is immediately accepting applications for a defensive graduate assistant specifically Defensive Line. Applicants will be responsible for managing their own recruiting area and will be responsible for coaching and managing their own position, including meetings. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to, film breakdown, data entry, recruiting, assisting with game preparation and other duties assigned by the head coach. Defensive playing or coaching experience with DL or LB’s is preferred. Needs to be efficient in Hudl,Excel, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Power Point. Position will report to Athletic Director. Other duties include but are not limited to: game manager, working in accordance with all athletic staff members, and representing the University in a positive manner. Maryland: Damon Evans, who has served as the acting athletic director since AD Kevin Anderson went on sabbatical last fall, will be the new athletic director for the Terps, per Inside Maryland Sports. Maryland has now formally announced the promotion.

Texas Permian Basin (D-II): The University of Texas Permian Basin is seeking an offensive assistant, coaching the WRs. This is a part-time position with housing provided. The candidate will be responsible for coaching a position, film-breakdown, scouting reports, off campus recruiting, and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Bachelor’s degree required. Central Missouri (D-II): The University of Central Missouri is seeks a qualified candidate for a defensive backs graduate assistant. The candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends and the candidate must have prior playing or coaching experience in the defensive backfield. Candidates will be responsible for coaching a position group, recruiting a geographical area, film breakdown/editing on HUDL, and other duties assigned by the Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator. Baldwin Wallace (D-III – OH): Baldwin Wallace University invites applications for assistant football coach – defensive assistant. Siena Heights University (NAIA – MI): Siena Heights is seeking qualified applicants for a graduate assistant opening. The position will work on the offensive side of the ball. The graduate assistant will report to the offensive coordinator and head football coach. Duties will include coaching a position, recruiting a specific area, academic monitoring, administrative duties, extensive video breakdown of games and practices, opponent scout as well as some equipment and laundry duties. Additional duties may be assigned by the head coach, defensive coordinator or the director of athletics. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, a valid driver’s license, and playing experience/coaching experience at the collegiate level. Strong communication skills and ability to recruit high academic and quality student-athletes is a must. Experience with Hudl digital editing system is a MUST. North Alabama (FCS): Cordell Upsahw, who spent last season as the defensive line coach at Southern Arkansas (D-II), has been hired to coach the defensive line, per source.

Rose Hulman (D-III – IN): Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology has a defensive line graduate assistant position open. Compensation includes graduate classes at the Indiana State University, meals and a $10,000 stipend.
