Carthage College (D-III – WI): Defensive coordinator Dustin Hass has been promoted to head coach. Offensive coordinator Kyle Rooker has added the title of assistant head coach. Former head coach Mike Yeager has accepted a position at Tiffin University (D-III – OH).
Purdue: Kevin Wolthausen has been promoted to one of Purdue’s two full-time positions open. Wolthausen was off the field, supporting special teams & the defensive staff.
Marshall: We have been hearing for a while that should Mirabal get the job at Oregon (below), Doc Holliday was targeting Charlotte offensive line coach Greg Adkins. Will update….
Oregon: Marshall offensive line coach Alex Mirabal has joined the staff in the same post, according to Grant Traylor of the Huntington Herald-Dispatch.

Alvernia (D-III – PA): Alvernia University is looking to hire an offensive graduate assistant. We will hire best fit so all positions will be considered. Previous collegiate coaching and/or playing experience is preferred. Duties will include coaching your own position, recruiting your own regional territory, video and Hudl responsibilities, coaching on special teams, and other duties assigned by the head coach. This position requires admittance into one of Alvernia University’s graduate programs. Pitt: Paris Johnson Sr., who coached the safeties at Savannah State (FCS – GA) last season, has joined the Pitt staff as assistant director of player personnel, per source. Johnson Sr. previously spent a season working with Pat Narduzzi as a defensive graduate assistant at Michigan State and is a former fifth-round NFL draft pick. He also worked in the recruiting department at Michigan State for a few seasons as well prior to joining the Savannah State staff.
Alvernia (D-III – PA): Alvernia University is looking to hire an entry level restricted earnings defensive assistant. The incumbent will be responsible for film breakdown, video editing using Hudl, coaching your own position, coordinating and running meetings, assisting with special teams, recruiting your own territory, and monitoring the academic progress of our student athletes. Additional duties may be assigned by the head coach or director of athletics. Previous playing and/or coaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, a valid driver’s license with clean driving record, ability to communicate effectively and the ability to adhere to the vision, rules and regulations of the NCAA, MAC Conference, Alvernia University and its football program. Austin Peay (FCS – TN): A few updates to the Austin Peay staff, per source. Turner West, who we reported was joining the staff the other day, will coach the linebackers, and former Titans defensive line coach Nick Eason is joining the staff as a defensive assistant and assistant linebackers coach, and former Cal defensive line coach Fred Tate is joining the staff as defensive line coach.

Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (JC): Per source, Missouri Southern (D-II) secondary coach Zach Crissup is heading to NEO as defensive coordinator. Crissup previously served as the defensive coordinator at Fairmont State (D-II -WV).
Ohio Wesleyan (D-III): Ohio Wesleyan University is seeking qualified applicants for an Intern level position as assistant football coach. This position will report to head football coach and duties will include coaching, recruiting, and academic monitoring. Additional duties may be assigned by the head coach. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, a valid driver’s license, and playing experience/coaching experience at the collegiate level. Long-time coach Chuck Klausing passed away last week at the age of 92. The former head coach at IUP and Carnegie Mellon coached 46 seasons in total at the college and high school levels. Please keep coach Klausing and his family in your prayers.

Mercer (FCS – GA): Per source, North Greenville (D-II – SC) offensive coordinator Joe Pizzo has accepted the offensive coordinator job at Mercer.
UConn: Eddie Allen, who spent the past three seasons coordinating the special teams at Delaware, has joined Randy Edsall’s staff in the same capacity.
Wisconsin Lutheran (D-III): WLC is seeking applications for two Graduate Assistant football coaching positions. Specific coaching position will be determined based upon experience and strengths of the candidate. Duties will include coaching, recruiting, film break down and other duties as assigned. Qualified candidates must have playing or coaching experience and be able to gain admittance to the graduate degree program. The positions will include a stipend and tuition remission.
